I purchased the rugelach at Roth’s (Salem, OR) through Instacart. It’s labeled as rugelach on Instacart, but on the package, it was labeled as “Pie Bites (rugelach)” On Eurobake’s website, they list sour cream and/or cream cheese in the ingredients. On the package I received, they are nowhere in the ingredients list. Thus, they are probably the reason they renamed it “Pie Bites”. As a former NY’r, what makes up rugelach is the inclusion of sour cream and/or cream...
I pick up the blueberry streusel nazook from my local grocery store occasionally and it's incredibly good. One of the best tasting desserts I've ever had from a store, let alone in general. They have the perfect texture of fluffy light dough, with the crunch of crystallized sugar and a soft dense buttery center. The semisweet fruity flavor matches the texture perfectly. I don't write reviews often but these nazooks are worth preaching about.
Great bread, sweet bread. Try Gata Bread - incredible!Rugelach, sadly, is really dry and not flavorful (low amount of filling and heavy texture). Cake and roulette are kind of heavy and you can only get it in a large portion. Wish they had Napoleon.I like poppyseed rugelach a lot, eurobaje is the only place to get it. It’s not as good as it could have been.5 stars for bread and Gata.
