Great quality Cortado. Great for a good weekday afternoon. It's tucked into a nice lobby and it feels like it just fits well. I saw they also had a Marionberry Mocha which just sounds fascinating. I'll have to try next time! Great stuff! 5/5.
One of my secret test drinks for a place is can you pull off a good espresso macchiato. No, not the sugary nonsense, but shots of espresso (preferably at the magic point between ristretto and a Starbuxx pull), nice pat of foam on the top, or alternately shots poured through the foam. I'm not picky, but I do sip my espresso slow, so I want it to stay fresh, and a little foam cap and a teaspoon of sugar does that. No, I'm not a coffee n**** I like the sugary stuff too. We worked with Even Keel to cater coffee for some workshops in the nearby Mercy Corps and U of O buildings. They provided great coffee and were flexible to meet our needs. It was a great experience, and we'll definitely use them again when we're in the neighborhood.
