I just LOVE this place. Best coffee in PDX. Great private tables, and then a long communal table.

Extracto is my go to place in Portland for coffee.

I am sensitive to coffee at other places, but their coffee is gentle on my system and doesn't make me jittery. Plus, it tastes really good!

And while the coffee is excellent, the staff there is extremely friendly and welcoming. They are always engaging and asking questions.

I love Extracto!

Extracto roasts and brews fantastic coffee, and I love that they deliver beans for free to the surrounding neighborhoods.

If you know what good coffee is, and enjoy real crafted product, this is the place to go. For almost 20 years I've been drinking Extracto and it never disappoints. Alway several varieties of bean to choose from. The roasting staff have been here since the beginning led by the owner Chris and do an excellent job extracting rhe best flavor profiles from each varietal. Do yourself a favor and go give it a try. You will be glad you did.

Great friendly service and awesome coffee, especially the cold brew.

The NW has a lot of good coffee shops; this one falls under the more craft/boutique-y category. The coffee itself is high quality and they stick to how the different types of coffee beverages are supposed to be made. The pastries come from some of the best bakeries in the area. Both inside and outside seating are comfortable and I find the environment an easy place to focus.

I have had coffee and a scone here one time and it was great. This time around I ordered a turmeric latte which was ok. I prefer a stronger flavor, maybe there was too much foam which diluted the flavor.

Go to Extracto Coffee for a consistently excellent drink. Coffee or tea doesn't matter they pay attention to every drink they make.Note to self: it's best to consume your drink at Extracto, because they always make them look like a painting on the top, don't just cover it up. Taste through your eyes at Extracto.
