Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

The food is always delicious, get the bread pudding it huge and u won't regret it. They're always busy during dinner, so occasionally the service can get a little slow, but the servers have always been really nice and apologetic whenever they have fallen behind. The nachos don't have a lot of meat but they were also delicious.
Please put more meat on your nachos.

It was a really slow time. We got seated fast, but no one took our order until I had to get up and find someone. That person said he was not our waiter, but he would take our order and then find our server. All went well after we finally got someone to notice us.

The food was good and the ribs came right off the bone. But the customer service wasn’t all great, we got put into the bar when we asked for the family dining half.(not a big deal) but they don’t give you much room on the bar side we had waiters/waitresses walking by our table and knocking the stuff on the end of the table onto the floor in a hurry and other guests were so close to us they were elbowing my partner when we were just trying to enjoy our food :/ like i said the food was good id order to go next time but probably wont dine in again

It's just ok food at a little on the high end for price. Service is good and location is good. Service is fast.

Went about a week ago a Saturday and i ordered the latest dish fried chicken which I love. Server said it got good reviews. So my plate comes to me and it's the saddest thing I have seen. Immediately I notice without even trying it looks dry and it was all 4 small pieces. The breast wasn't even a full piece. Our server was so kind asked if we wanted a redo and I declined. My $ did go back but no meal for me. But it was very disappointing. She said she would talk to the kitchen. If I'm spending $20 for chicken all pieces should be plump and juicy. Did not look like the picture.

Vegetarian options: Well the potato my sister had was just slopped on top very runny. She did not eat her lunch as well. Quality is slipping a little.

The food seems to have the potential to be delicious, but I've been 3 times now and each time I'm parked at curbside service pickup spot and calling at the time they say to arrive for my curbside service, andthen m then wait no less than 15 minutes for them to bring out cold food. Clearly it was ready but nobody could be bothered to bring it out. Two of those three times, I had to call again after waiting 15 minutes to remind them I was still waiting. What really sent me over the edge was the late time I went. I showed up and called exactly at the time they said it'd be ready [I have a schedule too], a gal answered and said she'd find someone to bring out my order. Roughly 10 minutes later an employee opens the door, not with my food, but with her cigarettes. After watching her take her sweet time for 5 more minutes, I call again. Wait, what's happening, the gal pulls the cigarette out of he mouth and thenanswers a wireless phone that was in her apron pocket. It was the same voice from when I called 15 minutes earlier. We hang up, she then finished her smoke and finally goes inside, maybe 3 minutes later. Within 5 more minutes I had my lovely COLD FOODl handed to me. My blood sugar was far too low at that point and my frustration was through the roof, but in about 5 more minutes, I had crossed the street to Wendy's ordered and paid for a replacement meal [opposite of bogo deal, 1 for the price of 2], threw away the cold meal from Dave's and started getting my grub on. This all happened less than a month ago in December and I refuse to pay for anything else from there [I'm typically a 3-strikes type of guy and this last strike was the worst especially with where my blood sugar was.]

Have ordered the rib tips 3x and unfortunetly have had to send them back due to excessive fat,everything else seems to be great,love the fish and also brisket

Our server was kind and welcoming. He also checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. It's has been a while since we've eaten there, but the burnt ends and the brisket didn't disappoint. The flavor was good, and the meat was tender. The only thing my partner didn't eat was the mashed red potatoes. It was a little too much garlic, but all in all, it was good.

While the server was very friendly and attentive the overall quality of the food was lacking. The brisket was fatty and tasted like it was microwaved after being frozen. The ribs were solid for a chain and the chicken was hit or miss: smaller and a little too bony. The sides were all perfectly serviceable and overall the quantity made up for the less than stellar quality.

Normally I eat at local BBQs but have this a try as we were on a time schedule and nearby. Don’t ever see myself returning.

Went to Portland and did a bit of shopping at cascade station before leaving to PDX.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and found famous Dave's! We were excited that we had to try. I've only heard of Famous Dave's as the bbq sauce found in stores.

Their food was delicious. When they say bbq is known here, they got it right. The table is set up with 3 their famous hot sauces. I would recommend the rich and sassy for the classic taste!

Make sure you go during lunch hour to get a good deal. 12-4pm

They only thing I was disappointed in was the server, she was pretty slow. We arrived at table and she took 15 minutes to take our order. We wanted the lunch special, gladly she came at 359. We also told her we had a flight, but she was very slow with our check.

Other than the service being disappointing, the food is one to try if you're looking for chain type restaurants.

My kids are fans - it was mediocre quality. Our server's hospitality and the atmosphere made up for the quality of the food.
