I was so incredibly disappointed with my purchase of the Raspberry Pistachio cake I bought for my birthday. My guest gathered around in excitement. It was so pretty. The bakery is pretty. The service was lovely. However after a few bites every one including myself sat the cake to the side and uttered variables of "The cake is tasteless and dry but the frosting is tasty" It went right into the Trash can. And I just didn't feel like bothering with coming back to complain because I hate to be that guy or be in that position. I just make the solid decision to not support that business and leave a review.

the team at this bakery TRULY made my day and are so kind. delicious cupcakes too
$3 a macaroon and they weren’t fresh
The best macaroons I’ve ever had in my entire life. They are so sweet!!! And take care of loyal customers. Also, the ganache brownies are probably the best dessert I’ve had. SO GOOD.

Stopped in because of the macarons. Coffee and hot chocolate were good too. But, when we got home and tasted the macarons, wow! I get macarons every chance I get and these are by far the best I have had in the US. Next time I am in Portland I will be visiting Farina's!

Asked if they could make a tiramisu as a special order, and it isn’t on their menu but it SHOULD be! Absolutely delicious and gorgeous (before there were candles of course), thank you to the staff for getting this done. And while I wasn’t able to buy anything extra, the desserts in the display case looked soooo good as well

I gave them another shot with cakes, and again, Farina had disappointed me. I purchased a cake slice, and it was the driest bread I have ever had. I expect that, for $9.50 for a tiny slice, it would be the tastiest cake slice in PDX. It was too subtle in flavor and dry as a bone. I have had much better else where. Rubicon cakes from New Seasons are much more satisfying than any of the cakes I have had here.
This time, the service was good compared to other times. But, the high prices do not validate the poor level of quality.
This past visit will be my last visit.

The Marionberry Pop Tart is one of the best things I've ever eaten.
The lady behind the counter was nice. It's a cool spot for a quick afternoon date.

I feel lucky to be such a short walk away to Farina. Delicious treats, fun and cozy atmosphere with great staff, and magical greeting cards are available crafted by a Farina staffer.

Great macarons, the fillings are tasty and not overly sweet and the macarons aren't mushy like so many places. I'm always on the search for great macarons when I visit a new city and this place doesn't disappoint.
Their vegan cookies are unreal. 10/10
