Best food, best service, best atmosphere. The owners truly care for this place and the community it serves. Wish more small businesses were ran with this much care and attention. Your hard work doesn’t go un recognized ?

We love it here! So nice to have a great spot to come with the kids and get waffles - they love it and ask to come every weekend! The owners and staff are great and so sweet, nice to have something different in the neighborhood.

Great little shop with delicious waffles! A little on the pricy side but worth it for the atmosphere!

Visited this quaint local waffle bar. They recently reopened with a new menu focused on waffles and poached eggs. Ordered the seasonal special Pumpkin waffle, the Caprese, and Garlic bacon. Poached eggs are optional and added so much to the meal. The food was really simple but tasty.

Fat Alberts was once a hole in the wall with excellent food at a great price. It's now a trendy waffle and mimosa bar, how disappointing.
I love the new concept of Fat Albert's. I love Waffles, it's my favorite breakfast. I tried both, the savory and the sweet options. I'm so happy they are back in the neighborhood. ?

My partner and I had the Chorizo and Churro Waffle for a Saturday brunch, and was just perfect! I especially loved the combination of the chorizo and the porched egg. Love the cute atmosphere and the acoustic cafe music. Will return!????

BEWARE- this is a terrible spot. We were in Portland visiting family who raved about Fat Albert’s before they shut down, so we were hoping the reopen would bring a great brunch spot. They now ONLY serve waffles- if you only serve one dish it better be amazing, and these were nothing short of disappointing. The reviews here are still riding on the coattails of the previous owners success (check dates), which seems intentionally misleading and dishonest. I am also guessing the few “good” reviews they have since reopening were written by friends, because the place was empty when we went in at 9:30AM on a Saturday. Plus, we had three different types of waffles, and they were all bad.

Went expecting greasy spoon diner, oddly ended up at a mimosa and craft waffle brunch spot. Food was a bit disappointing, and it was just not what I was expecting in terms of the menu.
