I was very lucky to have visited back in 2022 when I was pregnant. I recently had a craving for the delicious coxinha’s and the amazing sauce they recommended to go with it and learned that they have ended their Portland era. I’ve tried looking for a place similar but have had no luck. A trip to Brazil may be in my future <3

Quite cozy! Warm stained glass light, and quiet! The showrunner/barista was lovely and helpful. Not a lot of Brazilian spots around here, and I loved the sticky Brazilian coffee. But wished I’d brought wet wipes, because…sticky!

Such a nice, cozy place in SE. The language conversation group meetings are amazing. Definitely coming back here many times

Like a quick visit to Brazil. Hosts are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Service in English or Portuguese. Restaurant recently moved to Taborspace at 54th & Belmont.

The food was amazing and the staff was very welcoming. The food was very authentic. They music was also very authentic.

Good Lord!!! The female owner is a pain. I grabbed smthg and put in the counter. Then I went to grab another one. Her: "it's already here" Me: "I'm grabbing another one". Mind your business, woman. She kept pushing things too: we have this and that. Really? ? Yes, I can see. ?‍♂️?‍♀️ After paying, It was hard to put stuff in the bag. So she kept come behind me to see what I was doing every time. Yikes! When I left I needed to check my cellphone and guess who followed me like a ghost: her? Get lost shadow because you're not my shadow. Thankfully, I'll never coming back because I want a nice place to go to. Yikes!! ?

Favela is a great place for community and learning about Brazilian culture.

Great authentic ambience (saves taking a flight to Brazil). Friendly staff. Avocado toast is really good.
