Fehrenbacher Hof is a café right next to the Goose Hollow Max station. It has reasonable prices, tasty pastries, and adequate breakfast food options (I recommend the breakfast burrito with avocado). I also highly suggest NOT ordering to-go, as they have cute mugs to drink coffee out of, all sorts of fun decor to look at, games to play with friends, and also an upstairs! Overall, Fehrenbacher Hof is a cozy café in a convenient location with a unique vibe, good prices, and plenty of options.

I went here 4 years ago and got a breakfast sandwich, the one with Reuben sauce on it. To this day, it is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I think about it several times a week. I’ve never been able to find anything as good. I dream about this sandwich. Everyone needs to experience this sandwich.

I used to visit quite often when I lived in Portland in the spring of 2016. I lived in Washinton Park for about a month and a half. I would climb down the mountain in the morning, jump on the train and get off at Goose Hollow. The food and coffee was good but my favorite was the matcha latte. I would go upstairs and charge my phone and wash up in the bathroom. Everyone was pretty chill about it. I have fond memories of the place.
