This place could be lovely. The biggest problem is the menu is severely limited. There are absolutely no vegan options and very few vegetarian options. Certainly for the entrées there are no vegan or vegetarian options. The lentil soup we had was not distributed very well, I ended up with most of the lentils and my friend ended up with most of the broth. our server was lovely and thoughtful. It’s really too bad because it has the potential to be quite nice.
We ate here because it was connected to our hotel and we had a credit. On second thought, I come and have a cocktail and go somewhere else for dinner.
Vegetarian options: No vegetarian entrées. Lentil soup, polentas cubes and salads were the only non-meat non-fish options.

Melissa was amazing we had her for breakfast this morning and then she was our bartender later that night! She made a fantastic expresso martini to go with my dessert brownie. What a combo!!!

A very excellent classic dinner place for a date night. Staff was very attentive and food was very good. The hotel should promote it more.

Amazing restaurant connected to the Royal Sonesta hotel. Excellent first stop for breakfast as it is full service and opens at 7am. Coffee was fantastic, food came out quickly. Had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. The biscuits were split and toasted with a garlic butter, gravy was spot on, and eggs were light and fluffy and not over cooked. Service was excellent, the entire space is beautiful. Full bar, wood fitted pizza oven... Highly recommend.

We mostly just had the happy hour menu, but everything was great. Our server Spencer was amazing. He was polite, fast and efficient. We appreciate how much he checked on us to make sure we were happy. Truly a great representation on your company.

Came in for a drink for the first time because I was familiar with the bartender and always love their cocktails. I was excited to see their whiskey collection. Also was surprised at how good the food was. The polenta tots are amazing. From what I spied down the bar, the steak looks great as well.

Best drinks in Portland.
We had an outstanding breakfast here as a family with three kids. The dishes were creative and delicious. The value was good, with large portion sizes. The service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant is beautiful.
Kid-friendliness: No kids' menu but had good options for kids anyway that they could share due to the large portions; they loved the food.

Ricotta Cavatelli was amazing! Braised-beef ragu, English peas, mushrooms, in light, creamy sauce. Tip: Finch on Fifth is tucked away in the Royal Sonesta (formerly Monaco) My new favorite in Portland!
