I wanted to love this place but couldn't. I don't see the customer service that everyone else talked about. I don't know if it's a Portland thing but the waitress seemed over it. Don't sit upstairs. It's a boring storage locker. If you request not to sit upstairs, you'll be chastised and reluctantly allowed to sit downstairs. Was told the other tables had reservations however so did I. Funny though, all the other table for two were not seated the entire time we were there. So the staff giving attitude really did them no good. Gave the typical 20% for no other reason than that's me.

The Firehouse is one of a few restaurants that my wife and I go to for special occasions. It’s a wonderful place to go to any time of year. It’s nice and cozy in the winter time and the patio is great when it’s nice out in the summer. Their food is always on point and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.

Loved our dinner on the patio, the fried cauliflower, broccoli soup and fig and bacon pizza were delicious plus the drinks and dessert! The scissors to cut the pizza were a delightful bonus, I think I need a pair in my life now😄 Seriously, go try Firehouse.

Highly recommend for private events! We were wedding guests here and the food was outstanding- hot and delicious. The venue itself is super charming and great outdoor option with plenty of room the wedding was about 65 people. DJ was with the venue and his equipment made for great sound for speeches and the dance floor. Service was super kind - especially the bar.

We embarked on a culinary adventure, sampling a wide array of their offerings, and each dish was a testament to freshness and thoughtful seasoning. The two pizzas we tried were distinct and delicious, boasting vibrant toppings on perfectly crisp crusts. The beet salad was a refreshing burst of color and flavor, while the roasted cauliflower offered a delightful nuttiness and crispy yet tender texture. The bruschetta was an elegant starter, highlighting the quality of the ingredients. For our main courses, the lamb was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The steak was equally impressive, expertly prepared and seasoned. The cacio e pepe was a creamy and satisfying classic, and the baked pasta was a comforting and rich indulgence. What truly stood out across the board were the complex flavors and interesting textures present in every dish – a sign of a kitchen that pays close attention to detail. Adding to the wonderful experience was our server, who was incredibly kind and courteous. Their attentiveness enhanced the already enjoyable ambiance. Overall, Fireside exceeded our expectations. Thank you Firehouse team for making our wedding day go perfectly! We booked out the entire restaurant for the day, so we were able to decorate and get ready starting at 11am. With our 42 guests, we held the ceremony in the patio out front, then had dinner upstairs and the dance party downstairs. The food was incredible and we heard so many compliments about it from our guests. Working with the events manager (Alec) was great with his quick responses, flexibility, suggestions, day-of coordination, and DJ-ing!!
