I've been here 4 times and it's always very enjoyable. The downstairs dining room is smaller, so I'd suggest making a reservation as it's where all the atmosphere is at. I ate upstairs once - the atmosphere is definitely not as cool up there BUT you can rent it for events, which is cool. The drinks are great and the food good.

Food was great. A bit overpriced, for what it is, but excellent. However...The hostess seemed unable to do her job. She completely forgot to seat us. We (2) had a reservation and there was only one party of two before us that was seated almost immediately. After nearly 30 minutes at the bar and seeing others seated first, I asked the hostess why we hadn't been seated. She literally just scrolled up and down her tablet looking confused and couldn't even respond. Something was off with her from the moment we arrived. The bartender had to seat us because she was stuck or frozen or something. After going upstairs we saw there were a couple free and set tables, she just couldn't manage. Really bad first impression.I'm not sure I'd go back after that initial impression. They did comp two drinks for us, which helped.

Bren suggested terrific food and wine/cocktail pairings. Food was prepared well and cocktails were delicious. Ordered the steak and several small plates.

We had our July wedding at Firehouse and I was so happy with everything. We rented out the whole venue for a reasonable food and drink minimum and the restaurant took care of everything- seating for the ceremony, the PA system... the atmosphere was informal, but seamless and all the guests raved about the food.

Firehouse is a great little spot in the Dekum neighborhood. The wood fire pizza is delicious. It is a very laid back cozy little place.

This place has crept into being one of our favorites. My husband managed to book Firehouse for my birthday and 20 some guests here. Thank you Firehouse for being awesome and taking good care of us and making me delicious dirty martinis and putting up with me! You all were awesome the food always amazing and we hope you enjoyed the party as much as we did. Thank you! Everyone enjoyed and raved about the cauliflower, carrots, steak and the torte! Honestly all was perfect.

We booked Firehouse for a private event in the upstairs dining room and were so impressed by the quality of the food and service we received. All the food was delicious and the signature cocktails were spot-on to what we had requested. The menu packages had a good variety of options and the planning process was very flexible. The final costs came in right at what we were expecting. I highly recommend Firehouse for a private event.

Had such a nice dinner here with my family last night. We had the carrots, cauliflower, two salads, Trout, Carbonara and pizza and all were really good. The restaurant is small and feels cozy and intimate (but not too intimate). The menu isn't massive, but right sized and intentional which is much better in my opinion and the staff was lovely. We will definitely be back.

The arancini verde is unique and delicious and the other menu offerings were quite good as well. Dessert was a miss, sadly, with a dry and dense lemon (pound?) cake that you should surely avoid. Good service and decent atmosphere, though I was expecting a bit more atmosphere from a converted firehouse. Out of the way location too.

My friendive down the street from here so we stopped by for a casual dinner one night. The beets and cauliflower appetizers were very good, but carrots were a bit too salty for my liking. The pasta was also great, and the mushroom pizza looked good but I didn't have a chance to try it! The vibes were a little weird that evening, and the restaurant was very smoky, so not sure what was going on but we still enjoyed our visit.

There was a slight wait for a table for us, but well worth it. Service was exceptional and the food delightful. Ambiance certainly matched the wonderful service as well. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great experience in dining Oregon style.

Firehouse Restaurant is a wood-fired wonderland, where the aroma of smoky goodness meets American culinary excellence. From perfectly charred steaks to wood-fired pizzas, every dish is a flavor-packed delight. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff complete the experience. For an irresistible journey of wood-fired perfection, Firehouse is the place to be.
