Exactly what a dive bar should be. Throwbacks on the TV. Regulars at the bar. Good patio seating. Dark and dirty. Cheap drinks.

The Firkin is a classic Portland dive- lotto games, full bar, candy for a quarter, pool tables, sticker-covered bathrooms- (but clean!) staff was super nice and friendly. I never saw a food menu so I can’t speak to that, but I smelled fries coming from somewhere on the premises…
