I love how vegan friendly this place is! One of the few places you can find vegan pumpkin spice lattes in the fall. Today I went for their sausage breakfast burrito and French toast latte. I’m really impressed by the flavors in their coffee. The burrito is good but definitely needed salsa for me. They also have really unique environmentally friendly to go cups. If you love cat themed things check this place out!

great CATMOSPHERE! Chonky Purr-ito was really good (and definitely chonky). Seems like they're all cooked to order. Lots of interesting/original latte flavors. I was skeptical of jasmine lemongrass but the flavor actually worked and I really enjoyed it.

We had the vegan chorizo burrito with avocado. It was good. They didn't have salsa but offered Tobasco sauce. When joking about tobasco not being salsa we were told they were a coffee shop. The establishment did not seem clean and the bathroom's cleanliness was one step up from a dirty gas station.

Found this place by chance, looking for a spot for remote work with a patio to enjoy the sun. Ended up staying inside the whole time - comfy, cozy, quiet. Great place to read, write, or play scrabble!

The WORST COFFEE. Tastes like water. Not to mention this place is like someone's studio apartment turned into a coffee shop. Guy is rude and has terrible customer service skills. We brought up the issue about the coffee and he just acted like normal, didn't care or offer a remake or refund. All the furniture is secondhand and very UNCOMFORTABLE. Tables and chairs wobble. Not a good place to focus or work.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the negative reviews for this place. Its dirty and cluttered, uncomfortable second hand furniture randomly thrown all over.. WATERED DOWN cheap nasty coffee. Literally the WORST i have ever had.

I have to agree with the few negative reviews that are covered up by what seems like a bunch of fake 5 star reviews. This place is cramped, unorganized, messy, dirty.. To sum it up, its run down and old. Customer service is somehow worse than their coffee. Coffee is barely that, its actually mostly water.. you can barely taste any coffee in their beverages. My friends and I agree, we won't be coming back here

Was looking for a Portland coffee shop that didn’t have stark white walls with uncomfy chairs—Flying Cat delivered a great experience in every way. Coffee was wonderful and the atmosphere was cozy for a Sunday afternoon.

This is not a welcoming place. I came inside with friends, and the guy didn't serve us coffee in mugs. Immediately in to-go containers. I asked why. He said the business was going to close in 15 minutes. He could have been upfront and said that before we place the order. They also need a bigger sign outside showing their time it is going to be open and close. I do not recommend this place.

Lots of delicious seasonal drinks options! I ordered a vegan breakfast burrito. The menu also lists vegan breakfast sandwiches. They offer vegan pastries from Shoofly Bakery. The staff is amazing and super friendly!!
