Don't be deceived by the lack of heavenliness. We're stopped here to wait out traffic for a bit coming back from the gorge. Everything we ate was phenomenal.

I typed "vegan Mexican food near me" into Google maps and the Mexican carts at this place was one of the top results that came up.But when I got there the lady working at the Mexican cart told me that the guacamole was the only vegan thing they really had.I ended up getting plantain from the African BBQ cart. And I just wanted to mention that if I wasn't vegan I probably would have tried one of the dishes from the African barbecue cart because their food actually looked pretty damn good. The plantain reminded me of mashed potatoes with just a hint of sweetness. Not bad.
Parking: You have to park in front of the big blue building.

Was carjacked while waiting for food this week. I believe the Aquino Food Cart was in on it. Dont bring a car to this food cart pod.
Literally got 3 ribs and 2 pieces of brisket for 30 dollars that barbQ cart is a complete ripoff. If k wasn’t soo hungry I would have asked for my money back. This was what 30 bucks got me
THEY HAVE MOJITOS BRUH
Few carts' but they are all good.
I just ordered three tacos, small little things nothing like taco bell. The other carts way too expensive
Went to get food just got lamb BBQ with 2 sides very exited

Perfect spot to stop by after work to get everything you’ve been craving!! The taco truck there has one of the best tacos I’ve had in quite sometime. Takes me back to homeland and reminds me of my grandmas taco nights. Perfect. Always active!
Theres an african bbq truck here run by a friendly man. I ordered his lamb plate with collard greens and rice. SO FLAVORFUL. I would like him to sell bulk collard greens no joke. Theyre some of the best greens ive ever had.
Stopped for lunch. There are only 4 food carts here. Only 2 of them are open and both are essentially the same kind of food.
Rarely has more than one or two trucks open at lunch. Service at all of them is rough and nothing worth writing home about for food. Tacos are fine in a pinch, but try Mi Puebo, La Tia Juana, or Chepe's instead. Worst pod in Portland? Seems like it.Hours and descriptions rarely match. When food is available, it may take long enough to serve (30-45+ minutes with zero other customers) that you're better off going anywhere else. At least there's enough seating for everyone! (You'll be joined by the stray dogs from the abandoned lot nearby.)Convincing owners/operators to get out of their cars long enough to get someone to take an order inside their cart, especially at Fish on a Stick, is a nightmare.
I'm never sure which cart will be open or when, but I always know I'm going to get great food. The owners are awesome too, and really friendly!
