Comfy, relaxing, great place for a date. Primary focus is on the Gin, but there have a few more options. We walked over from Aviation Gin; this has a more relaxed vibe, very convenient to the restaurants on Knob Hill. Recommend.

My Freeland Spirts experience started with a free taster coupon but led to some much. The staff with super friendly and knowledgeable. I’m not really a gin drinker, but after learning how it was sourced / created it peaked my interest.

Popped in here on a whim to grab a drink. Ended up staying a lot longer than anticipated because everything was fantastic. My girlfriend had the seasonal cocktail flight which she loved (she especially loved the cute glasses and wonderful presentation). I tried two different cocktails which were unique and delicious. One was the pistachio sour which was excellent, and the other was the bourbon casserole which was just as good. The service was spot on, the vibes were immaculate, and I will be back. Don't miss out!

Over the last couple of years, I’ve tried to go to this place during its regular open hours. The other two times it was closed, but last night it was open, but after advertising that they were doing special holiday cocktails, there was one person there and only doing bottle sales. Lame. I won’t try going here again..

I was flying out of PDX and stopped by Freelands. I stopped by and was greeted by Odra. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. It was great learning from her!

We visit Freeland from a few hours away in WA every month. We love love love their cocktails, fresh flights, planty plants, gorgeous still, and Jill's (the owner) story, ambition, and moxy. However, the service is very hit or miss and unlike the other two spots we also visit every month on the same trip, this distillery never seems to recognize us. We've been coming here for more than five years, regularly, loyally. It's just odd that there's not much appreciation or recognition of that when there are lots of choices of places to sip n spend $. We also have bottles of every single offering they have sold and still no one seems to care or even notice. Down the road there's another spot we always go and they remember us every single time. We will continue to always promote and patronize Freeland, it's just interesting to us the differences in how we are treated. We love you Freeland....still believing you'll show love back (fingers crossed). 🥰

My boyfriend and I were flying out to see family in California and spotted the Freeland kiosk right after security. We were greeted by Odra, she was so sweet and knowledgeable. We had never tried Freeland whiskey before so Odra led us through their rye and bourbon selection. The rye we tasted was delicious so we bought a bottle to take to the family. Thank you Odra for an awesome experience! We’ll make sure to stop by everytime we fly out!
