You might have to wait a long time because this place is insanely popular. But trust me, this is well worth the wait. I waited 25 minutes, but the impatience I accrued from waiting quickly evaporated the second I bit into my Yolko Ono Deluxe. Ive been going to this place for years and the quality has stayed so consistent. 🫶

Best egg sandwich I have ever had, it was truly a treat. I got the Yolko Ono Deluxe which was new.

We stopped by just around 9AM and the line was long for ordering and the wait for food was long as well, it was worth it. We ordered the YoKo Ono & Egg Zeppelin. There was one guy running the til and the same guy cooking.

We take all our out-of-town visitors here. Delicious egg sandwiches with the local flavor of Pioneer Square.

This past Saturday we treated our nephew to gourmet egg sandwiches from a food truck, something he's not seen in the Midwest (gourmet anything from a food truck). As we sat waiting in the shade upon chairs provided by IKEA, we listened to the dulcet sounds of the city... the gentle fluttering chorus of coos and clucks of the city pigeons was layered with tinny christian music emanating from a box truck parked in the center of the square. The band was promoting something called Heaven to Earth and its members all stood sweating, crammed in the open box save the drummer, who somehow earned a spot on the paver bricks where he could at least feel the breeze. All of this was punctuated by the shrieks of a woman doing her best to evade a small fleet of security personnel bedecked in bright yellow vests... She came around Starbucks from the North, wailed a hasty retreat, then cut straight through the center of everything, pausing her screams just long enough to hurl an insult toward the box truck full of Christians... Ah, Portland in the summer!

Anyway, the sandwiches were the bomb. Can't wait until our next visitors give us another excuse to dine here again!

If you're eating it on the road I recommend passing on the delicious pesto... it gets oily and messy to eat. However, if you have the time to sit and eat with a pile of napkins at hand the pesto is well worth the mess!

This might be a minority view among tourists but I think the food trucks in Portland are pretty hit or miss. Fried Egg is a hit. If going to the pioneer square location be prepared to wait 30-45mins in the summer

The good is I have been several times and the food is always great.
The bad is the last time I went I bought for my group of 6 and they charged me a fee for a large group. For 6 Sandwichs I was charged more than half the price of a Sandwich.
