Friendship Kitchen NW: Saigon to Singapore

We had an amazing time at Friendship Kitchen! There were so many non alcoholic options for drinks which made me really happy, we tried the Pathfinders Timer which was spicy and perfect! Appetizers were really good, I loved the Lobster Puffs and the crispy noodles! We will have to come back for sure! Eric was awesome and took care of us we really loved our time here and can't wait to try more things on the menu!

Disappointing. The Singaporean Chicken Rice pales in comparison to the authentic dish. Chicken is not poached properly - overcooked and dry. The signature part of authentic chicken rice is actually the rice (not the chicken), and unfortunately the rice is underwhelming. The chicken broth is over salted. There should also be 3 sauces accompanying the dish - sweet soy sauce, chili sauce, ginger-scallion sauce. Only the ginger scallion was provided.

The food is great but the restaurant feels now more of a take out hub than a welcoming restaurant. No atmosphere and poor table service.

The chicken satay skewers were perfectly grilled. The phở: splendid. The Laksa? Oh. My. Gosh!

I'm honestly confused by these positive reviews, this is one of the worst meals I've had. Corners are being cut, if it wasn't flavorless it was just plain awful. The nasi lemak was just a disgrace. I was so hungry and looking forward to this cute little place but everything I ate had terrible or nonexistent flavor and left me feeling a little queasy.

This ain't it

One of the best Pho I’ve ever had! Quality beef in the Pho, which often isn’t the case of restaurant pho.

Excellent atmosphere, music, and location too.

Some of the best food in Portland! I love this place so much. Delicious fresh rolls, the vegan chickn drumsticks are to die for, and I love the crepe and wonton soup! Very filling and flavorful food, and the chef is so sweet. Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: I’m a pescatarian and they have loads of options!

Finally visited this location on Saturday with some friends. Cute space, amazing food and drinks! But I came to shoutout to our server Kevin! He was amazing, attentive, patient and all around great server! We will be back! Thanks, Kevin and Friendship Kitchen staff!

I had a wonderful visit here with my friend. They were very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them. As far as the food, the chicken satay was dry and hard to chew, as was the chicken in the Asian salad. I hope they resolve this. I hope they succeed

We always try to support small local businesses, but this one was a definite miss. Not sure what they are trying to do here with the deconstructed plates, but we didn't like it. The food was ok and the service was slow. The drink menu was limited because they were out of a lot of mixers. It was also expensive.
