Our friends that have dined all over the world say this is one of their favorite restaurants in town. My friend and I went and thought it was good but not mind-blowing. The service was good, the atmosphere very lively and fun (kind of on a hip bar side of things). For the equivalent quality and price and portions, I prefer many other place in town. Also, I think another reviewer mentioned they left hungry? To be fair, we only ordered four plates and 2-3 were recommended per person at minimum, meat free. However...I too left hungry and just didn't want to surpass the $45 (with tip) I already spent on my food plus $20 for drink.

It's a fun, lively environment with great drinks but the food and service were mixed. We ordered all of the items on the happy hour menu and found the Ensalada Bomba was amazing and the fingerling potatoes were delicious - but the mushroom skewers were way over-salted and the shrimp skewers were meh. Several items came out quickly while others had long delays despite the restaurant being uncrowded on a Sunday night.

In the NW, there is certainly no shortage of incredible restaurants to choose from! G-Love has slowly but surely become one of my favorite spots for drinks. They are unique and oh so tasty. My go to is hands down the Cecilia! Packed with incredible flavor… I could drink them all night. We’ve also tried the Maria Teresa. Again, so unique – nothing quite like these drinks. The bar tenders and the hosts are incredible. It is also funny to people watch and observe the long line of people waiting to take a photo in their famous “Gold” or “Jungle” washroom. Each time we’ve gone it has been for drinks, however, I can’t wait to visit for a meal because the food always looks incredible. It is great overall atmosphere! I highly recommend visiting G-Love!

Went to G-Love for dinner with friends and it was overall a really good experience. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered “The Works” where they prepare a dining experience for you, which I do think is the way to go here, especially if you have a larger group like we did (6 people). The menu is small plates, so ordering this way everyone got to try each course. We really liked the fried chicken and the blackened albacore. I knocked off one star because I didn’t feel that we were wowed by any particular dish.

My husband and I walked in and checked in with the host. He said the wait would be about 45 min, and we asked if we could get a drink while we waited. He said yes. We walked up to the bar and asked the bartender if we could order a drink. He said “check in with the host”. We said we already checked in, but wanted to order a drink while we wait, and again he said “check in with the host”. We then went back to the host and asked if we order from him, and he said yes. He never said anything when we initially asked. Both the host and bartender were not kind. Not a great first impression. We ended up walking out and going somewhere else.

Went there for a work dinner and got the $75 fixed menu. Food was very good but the quantity was poor. Had the same tasting menu a year ago and we got many more things to try.

First time at G-Love and we had a blast. Our kids enjoyed the small plate concept and were surprisingly adventurous with food. Presentation and flavors were on point.

Exceptional vegetable forward dining. Massive outdoor heated and covered patio, great for parking a stroller on a moody spring evening. Fabulous food and service. Drinks were strong and delightful.

I’ve been here 7 or 8 times, and I keep coming back. Food 5 stars, love the shareable idea and that the food changes but kinda stays the same. The non meat options are chef kisses. Servers 5 stars. Bathrooms 5 stars. Desserts 5 stars. Drinks 5 stars. What more can I say? If this restaurant ever were to struggle (it wouldn’t), I would single handedly do my best to keep it in business. I may have left a review before but can’t find it so here’s another. 10/10 highly recommended
