Came in without knowing anything about the place, on recommendations from a friend. Proceeded to have the best Italian American meal of our lives. I’m Italian American. I grew up making and eating this cuisine. We live on the East Coast, more specifically, the mid Atlantic where there is lots, lots, LOTS of great Italian food. This blew it out of the water for us.

Came for my sisters birthday (she’s a regular who’s been coming for years) and were placed on a waitlist which was to be expected. Was told to wait 50 minutes. Came back to check at an hour and 15 minutes later and was told they were almost ready for us. My group became cold waiting outside and wanted to wait inside around the bar area, which the host then kicked us out because there was another large group waiting. Gabbiano’s is so fun! Solid menu with something to please everyone. I crave that arugula salad! The service is great and the vibes are incredible. Fun drinks too! We always bring people from out of town to Gab’s! One out my top faves in Portland!
