The food is outstanding, every time. Great cohesive menu, everything pairs really well. Pretty good service, nothing over the top. The only thing i’d keep in mind before going is that the portions are.. disappointingly small, the chicken sate comes with 3 very thin skewers for $16 and as much as i love the green curry $28 is outrageous for how small of a portion you get. if you don’t want to leave hungry you have to spend quite a bit.

This place is wonderful. We went for a work holiday group of 6. We did the rice table. It was great food that added to the conversation. Service was wonderful and drinks were great too! 10 out of 10 would do it again!

So flavorful and delicious! Exceeded expectations. The Rice table menu was a great way to experience the cuisine, and really everything was delicious and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The service was warm and attentive without being fussy. We loved it.

My partner and I have gone here a few times and have enjoyed the food and the service every time! Our most recent visit stood out especially with how great of a job Tanzy did with serving us. The food tasted great (as always)! We can’t wait to go back!

Omg! I can't say enough amazing things about Gado, Gado unless its to say go here! Don't even think twice about it! Amazing, delicious food, wow! Service incredible! Interesting and delicious cocktails! The staff from the moment you make a reservation either online or over the phone, so sweet and do the best to accommodate! Could not have had a better experience ! This is a gem! And dont forget to try the signature jello shot! Try everything Ala carte or even the rice table. All the flavor combinations each one delicate and wow factor. On its way to being one of the top restaurants in Portland. Can't wait to return on my next visit.

We love coming back here for our favorite dishes, tho I think the Roti alone would bring me back! We took our 2 year old for the first time tonight, and they were so accommodating. Not only did they bring out the crayons, the chef brought a special kids plate of rice and fruit for her to munch on while we waited for our food. Fellow moms will know how thoughtful that was! It took a normally antsy toddler to a calm, happy and fed kiddo. And at the end, they brought her a little bowl of squishy toys to choose from. I wouldn’t have initially thought this to be a kid friendly spot, as it initially reads as date night or special night out. But somehow it’s all those things, and we were really grateful for the staff. Doesn’t hurt that the food is delish!! :) can’t wait to go back again.

We went to Gado Gado for my husband's birthday. The staff and service were impeccable and the food was delicious. We sat out in the cabana on a chilly night, which at first I was concerned about but it was actually very warm and we didn't need jackets at the table with the abundance of heaters in the space. We loved our dinner with friends and can't wait to return.

The rice table was an excellent experience for the group of four! The food and sauces were amazing, and my favorite part was that each time another dish came out, the waiter took the time to explain to us what it was and how to eat it!

I loved the ambiance and the food was really delicious. The green curry was the stand out for me and it was fun to order and share a few things. Expensive but worth it for the great food and relaxed setting. I'd love to try the rice table for a special occasion.

We've been wanting to try Gado Gado for awhile now and it did not disappoint. The food alone was absolutely fantastic. Hands down, one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. The service was the cherry on top. Taylor made sure we had an amazing experience!! 10/10

The food was good and interesting, there was enough food for it to be a nice experience. No real options to support GF individual in our group... no alternate offerings.

This is truly one of the best restaurants in Portland and has been consistently for years. The food is always so complex and innovative and the service is friendly and solid. If you like classic cocktails don't miss the Oma's Old Fashioned.
