It's a great bar with excellent ownership and staff. Cocktails are amazing. I personally was underwhelmed by the menu though. Not the quality just the choices.

We came in and played some games. It was ok at first and then the bartender suggested a game that made the whole night so much more fun. The game was so much fun. We had a blast. And will return again.

One of my favorite little places in Portland so far. Unbelievable selection of board games, somehow the staff always seems to know how to set the game up. Decor is on point, whoever built the shelving did an AMAZING job. Great atmosphere, food is ok. Such a fun place for a night out. Family friendly during the day.

First time I have been here. Very cool. First off Class A collection of Boardgames both new and Vintage. The staff are very knowledgeable about the games, but don't expect each of them to have the same knowledge. The cafe is awesome. They a variety of foods and beverages that will help you stay hydrated and full. They also offer a pretty awesome bar if you are looking for spirits or beer. I think the $5 cover is plenty fair for being able to host your board game night out with your friends in a sweet venue with a welcoming atmosphere. If you talk to the staff they might let you know of other gaming events that they might know about. Definitely a unique and special place.

Great board-game themed bar. Food is pretty impressive for a small kitchen, good variety of drinks including a fun roll-a-die for a shot game, and extensive game library. Most of all, awesome atmosphere with helpful bartenders/game-explainers and great mix of experienced and new “gamers.” I strongly recommend checking Game Knight out.

They do have a $5 per person charge to play games but absolutely worth it. The place gets crowded pretty soon especially on weekends so go early to grab a great place. We had to wait 30 mins on Saturday night to get a place... Great food and drinks in reasonable price

Good food, good drinks, including great home made syrup for us non drinkers. We will be going again and bringing friends.
