Ordered a salad and got home and they forgot to put in the chicken. Thankfully my sweet husband shared half of his wrap with me and we split the salad. Super irritated to pay $15 for a salad with no protein. Could have paid $4 at the grocery store for a salad kit. Nothing particularly special about the food in my opinion. I felt bad for the person working there they seemed miserable. We will definitely not be coming back here.

Yummy half bowl Paul Bunyan with chicken, fresh! Blue cheese was delicious, solid portion. Wish there were some heaters for when it’s cold. Will try vegan options next time.Vegetarian options: Substitutions and vegan options for almost every item.

I frequent garden monsters once a week and drive 20 mins one way to do so. I love salads and have eaten at every salad spot in Portland. Their macho taco large salad with avocado added and chicken is addictive and a huge portion. Their seasoning blend makes the chicken ultra flavorful and the way they prep it keeps it tender and juicy. The ingredients are always fresh and clean, I’ve never had sad wilty ingredients like some other places around town. TBH I usually snack on the chicken on the way home ? because I literally can’t get enough. Placing an order is super easy. I just wish the food cart seating had some more heat lamps so I could stay and eat rather than drive all the way back to SW Portland during the colder months or had more locations to choose from- but that’s a me problem.

The vegan macho taco is my favorite salad in Portland. I like to order ahead for lunch as they get very busy which makes sense because their salads and wraps are delicious.

Their vegan Caeser dressing is delicious! And since its vegan, it's healthy right? No calories? :)Would recommend their salads, as they are huge, plus you can stuff them in a tortilla shell and it's essentially a salad burrito! I have a difficult time paying premium prices for salads, but I guess I'll do it... Again and again for Garden Monsters.

Delicious food! Garden Monsters makes me crave salad, which is unheard of. I love the wrap. It's like a salad burrito. All these haters with their one star reviews...be realistic. This is a food cart, not an Olive Garden. You can't expect Prime Now from a tiny business like this.

Healthy, tasty and fresh...perfect place to visit when you're craving feel good food. I love that all the menu items are easily customizable. The Buffalo Style Cesar salad is my current favorite but I'm definitely coming back to try the melts. Also. I really don't get some of the hate for this place about the prices or service. The "whole" size menu items are indeed Monster sized at 48oz for a large salad and priced very fairly. Seems like some of these people don't leave the house often.
