Gastro Mania Deli NW

I go here every time I visit Portland. Seemingly every dish from the small menu here is legendarily delicious. My favorite is the shrimp burrito, overflowing with seafood, signature squid ink rice, veggies and aioli, not to mention the thing is huge. The meaty offerings are all top-notch. Unique and an incredible value. The seating is limited and spartan, but it's still the best lunch around!

Have had this place twice now and both times have been excellent, great service, nice patio, and even better food at a very reasonable price

I love this little spot. It’s got great food, and it’s very affordable, too! Also, I HIGHLY recommend their breakfast burritos, which might be my favorite in the area!

Such a great little spot. Friendly, prompt, clean and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. My meal was hot and fresh and delicious. The menu is diverse and let me tell you, thus place knows how to make a mighty fine gyro.

Friendly service. Cute shop feels very European. Some outdoor cafe style seating. Ordered a gyro. It looked good. But after biting into it I felt like I was eating paper. Really thin pieces of tough lamb/beef. Thought I was getting something better with beef over pork . Ends crispy and dry. Not much meat at all. Also tried the polenta app it was interesting. Disappointed in the gyro

Good fries but brisket sandwich and burger were not good and me and my partner have a lot of GI upset the next day like mild food poisoning.

I can’t say enough about the GMD NW. The octopus salad alone ?. GMD NW is one of my first recommendations to people when they visit. In fact, I’ll take some people here tomorrow!

Lamb shank all the way. Sooo good! I always struggle choosing between the shank and the chef salad. The lamb shank NEVER disappoints. The octopus is also ALWAYS fuegooo. The tuna and salmon on the salad are always cooked well done—- and I end up eating around them. But still 5 stars cause ?

Pretty decent place. Got the salmon salad and a gyro burrito that had jalapeno aioli. Meat was a bit dry and over cooked, kinda greasy. But was still worth trying. Will be back to try the octopus

Great food! Had the lamb & pork plate. Meat was well seasoned. Rice was good. Salad was good. Hummus was good. Pita bread was fabulous!
