I had a very positive experience at Gather. I had just gotten into town late at night from the east coast on a flight that had been delayed repeatedly. I hadn't eaten dinner and was dead on my feet. Though they close at 11pm, the staff at Gather was welcoming and quickly pulled together my order when I straggled in at 10:45pm. A challenging travel day ended on a great note.
Ravioli and potstickers are kind of mediocre and the potstickers are nothing but you can't Fry at home the ravioli comes pan-fried what tastes like and butter and has no sauce but butter. Service was amazing, waitress super nice and attentive! Old fashioned with makers nothing to brag about.
Just a nice restaurant off the lobby of the Doubletree Hotel in NE Portland.
They offer a decent menu with some very good selections to choose from.
The wait staff is attentive and pleasant!
