Fantastic place that I've enjoyed for years. My only criticism is there used to be an awesome happy hour but now it's just $1 off certain things. Need to bring back a more Portland style happy hour and fill this bar up!

We were in Portland overnight and Gilda's was recommended to us by the hotel staff. The food was amazing. It was crazy busy and the staff were hustling, but very professional. Even when a customer at the next table was being unnecessarily difficult (his companion and the waitress and we all knew it was his error, not the waitress's) the waitress handled the situation with grace. We were so impressed with the food and the staff, we went back on our return trip through Portland a week later. Equally impressive food and service, but on a slow night, so the staff had time to happily engage with customers. Shout outs to Taylor and Gabby and Chef Marco. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
We stopped here after an event at Providence Park. My wife and I wanted a casual, light dinner, so we shared a couple food plates and had cocktails and wine. The lounge exceeded our expectations, we had a wonderful polenta with wild boar ragout dish that was sooooo tasty, layers of flavor. The meatballs and Caesar salad were also spot on and together made a nice small shareable meal. Service was wonderful, like family. Thank you Gilda’s Lounge!!!
Looking for a nice night out? You can’t go wrong with Gilda’s! Chef Marco delivers some of the best Italian cuisine I have had. Quaint setting that feels cozy. Try Gilda’s and you will be looking forward to your next meal there! I had the wild boar dish…best sauce I have ever had!

We found this place just by walking by. We wanted to have a couple drinks somewhere before going to the Crystal Ballroom. We sat on the leather couches since there were 10 of us. It felt cozy and the atmosphere was nice. The drinks were great. Specifically liked the Blueberry Lemon drop. We ordered some appetizers and everything we got was so delicious - Garlic bread with tomato sauce, Burrata, Frito Misto and grandmas meatballs - Polpette. I highly recommend this place. The owner Marco was so very kind to give us an order of the meatballs on the house. Staff are very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our time here and will come back again to try the entrees.

Best real Italan food in Portland. The Gnocchi is the best I've ever had anywhere. Marco has the best hand in making anything.

First off me and my fiancé who is 6 months pregnant went here for a night out. The pictures of the place are very misleading to what the restaurant is actually like. The cooks were very generous but the restaurant it self smelt like a retirement home it was very small and compact the menu makes little to no sense at all. The food was absolutely disgusting we got the spaghetti with mamas meatballs the noodles were way overcooked, and the plate I ordered i couldn’t even tell you what was on my plate. But with the first bite I wanted to vomit the person who served us seemed nice but was not so nice when I asked for non alcoholic drinks being as we are both under 21 years of age. Definitely would never go back to this place would have had better food and honestly a better setting going to a Olive Garden rather than this. I don’t ever leave reviews on places but this place left me with no choice it was so bad.

We have been dining at Gilda’s for 6 months. Thank you to our friends Linda and Paul for introducing us to this wonderful restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. It is a family owned restaurant and the pride of the naturally sourced ingredients is very evident. Everything is made in house. The service is exemplary! Go, you won’t be sorry!
We were able to walk a block from the hotel and enjoy a warm welcome and wonderful food. The atmosphere was casual Italian. The food and drink menu offered a variety of options. There were three of us and we each had something different and found the portions generous and delicious.
My favorite hidden gem. The atmosphere of the bar mixed with the rich smells of the delicious food will draw you in before you even sit down.

Amazing food and stellar service! Haven’t had food this good since our last visit to Italy! It’s a charming, somewhat casual space that is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Another great evening and finely prepared food at Gildas. I caught up with my cousin before going to a concert at the Moda center. Service was spot on. We had amazingly tender calimari, meatballs (2x orders) and a perfectly dressed Caesar salad. Very reasonable prices as well. Atmosphere was low key which was great for conversation. Highly recommended!
