Honestly I don't know why this place doesn't get more customers. It's more affordable than most of the overpriced food trucks and restaurants nearby. Big portion decent Chinese food. If the homeless and druggies around is an issue for you not to visit, I think it still worth ordering deliveries from here. They got plenty of parkings in front of the restaurant where you can still keep an eye on your car. It's quiet and staffs are friendly, one of my go-tos to...

Golden Horse was probably a great place once. They have good food, but there are many variables that reduce their ability to attract more customers.
Again, the food is good, but when you walk in, there's no music playing or anything that makes you want you to stay there. It's quiet and somewhat awkward, when you see the owners sitting in the dining room waiting for customers.
The area of Chinatown has seriously met a bad demise....

The Kung pao chicken had lots of veggies and chicken. I was pleasantly surprised. This was the best Kung Pao I've had in a long time.
The building is older, yet just a block away from the chinese gardens so it makes it great to go to both at once.
