The food was amazing! I got the salted pepper soft shelf crab, pad thai wings, and beef lard. The flavors were great for all 3. Waited a bit long (30+ mins) but there were a big group in front of us.

The blazing squid and papaya salad is amazing! Tucked away spot with great portions. Well worth the trip across town. I’ll see the blazing squid in my dreams it was so good.

They were out of papaya salad which was a disappointment. The golden rolls were very under seasoned and underwhelming. It essentially tastes like unseasoned ground beef cooked to very well done wrapped in lettuce and a rice wrapper. The oil/unami/sweet/spicy/sour element was completely lacking. The wings portion was generous- six large wings/drumsticks and a 2 cup serving of rice. However the skin was still rubbery and undercooked. Not crisp like one is hoping for with wings. Also disappointing is the absolute blandness and lack of flavor. The peanut wings hardly had any flavor. When we asked for more sauce we were told it's two dollars. The garlic wings were likewise dry (sauce wise) and lacking in flavor. The chicken was moist and tender but without a crispy skin and flavourful sauce was an utter disappointment.

I’m a big fan of fried/crispy/salt & pepper squid/calamari dishes. Golden Triangle’s spicy squid is some of the best I’ve ever had. EVER.It’s mad spicy for me though so I have to modify it to be milder in heat but it’s still fire nonetheless. It’s going to be hard to go anywhere else for crispy squid! I plan on trying to stop by at least twice a month if not more.

My family and I saw a food post about Golden Triangle, and we instantly knew we had to go.The restaurant is in a food cart pod in SE Portland right off Woodstock. There is some parking in a lot by the food carts but it was full when we arrived. Fortunately, there was ample street parking. However, I can see things getting a bit crowded in the area when the weather gets nice.There was seating outdoors, but because it was a brisk winter evening, we found a nice booth inside to wait for our food. The indoor seating area has a cool bar and some tvs. There is also an upstairs bar area but that too was closed for the season.The food took a little longer to make than most sit down restaurants. There were two people cooking in the truck, and it was a popular night. Also, we ordered nearly 80% of the menu, so that attributed to the longer wait time. I would recommend ordering ahead of time if you have a large order and are short on time.In regards to the food, it was amazing. I would highly recommend the soft shell crab, pork belly and the larb. Everything was so delicious. Even tho there were 4 of us, we ate nearly all 12 dishes we ordered. Servings were generous, and prices were fair.I would highly recommend checking out Golden Triangle if you are ever in the SE area of PDX.

“their food is so bomb i can eat their food forever! i would recommend people coming here! the service is great!” -my niece ?this place is hands down one of the best food carts that pdx has to offer. they have a big menu with a dish for everyone’s cravings! we personally love the coconut fettuccine, sweet wings, salt & pepper squid and always the honey walnut shrimp! the food is always cooked to perfection, full of flavor and always leaves us wanting more!
Vegetarian options: Tofu is offered here and the veggies are always cooked to perfection
Parking: Parking is fine. There is free parking, free sidewalk parking and even another parking lot across the street.

I’ve been waiting to try this cart. I’m glad I was able to stop by on my way home one day. Ooohweee One of a kind!! Never had anything like it. A lot of flavor! I prefer this over regular Thai food places.

Been seeing this place all over tik tok, and let me tell you, we ordered the soft shell crab with was ? we ordered the sweet wings since it was suggested to us, the nom khao which I’m coming back for and the coconut pasta! It was all amazing. The gentleman also told us we can eat inside the bar which is nice. They will be seeing us once a week. Must try for sure.
