Have been visiting this place since 2017. It has never changed and that is a wonderful thing. Amazing vibes, coffee and staff. Cathy and Megan were a great team! Such beautiful latte art
Dietary restrictions: I used to get the best gluten free banana bread muffin here in the past! I also enjoy the decaf espresso.

Best coffee in Portland. A small shop with a nice atmosphere
Wrong hours online
Matcha late was delish. And they always give our dog treats. ++
Waited (literally) over 20 minutes to get a lukewarm mocha and a chai on 10/20/24. The female strawberry blonde barista was in no rush to make drinks and the guy working there just kept taking new orders instead of assisting in catching up the backlog of orders. If you are tediously going to weigh coffee grounds and time the pulls, why not also use a thermometer to ensure the milk is heated properly as well? I was not impressed with the service, the lack of concern that customers might actually have places to be, nor with my lukewarm and not very flavorful drinks. Would recommend folks go elsewhere if you are looking for "good coffee."

Oh my goodness. This place went so far downhill. Used to come here often in the past. The last few times it was so terrible, baristas super rude, and coffee was terrible.

10:30 am on a Tuesday. Myself and a group of other passengers bemused that it is shut with one person curtly telling us "not open". Try politeness. It works! Coffee is normally outstanding if the service a little aloof.

Wonderful espresso, cozy location.
Got the spectrum blend and it was rich, chocolatey and had the most incredible body. Really enjoyed it!
The shop is quite small and the seats not the most comfortable. It's cozy and quaint, but this location is probably more suitable as a quick grab-n-go spot than to chill at.
Nevertheless, worth coming to try out their coffee!

They have three locations. The closest one to me is about 7 minutes but since I discovered this location, I have been coming here. I would say the employees at the Troutdale location were much more pleasant and welcoming but I prefer my drink from this location. The ambience is great. I absolutely love the bathroom, simple and rustic sort of look. There is ample seating and the ambience has a cozy sort of feel. Go here

Got a lavender matcha and vanilla cappuccino. Both were delicious. The lavender matcha was tasty and had the perfect amount of lavender in it, so it didn’t take completely floral but absolutely gave lavender. The cappuccino froth was excellently frothy.
The horchata latte sounded amazing and had lots of complex flavors that unfortunately didn’t show up in the finished drink. The coffee itself was strong and tasted fine, but I had to ask for a lot more horchata reduction/syrup to taste anything. Would come back to try other seasonal drinks.
It’s all good here.

Great espresso macchiato. Spacious sidewalk seating around both sides of corner in sun or shade. Very neighborhood vibe.
