The sesame seed baguette is bread at is finest. BLT season is fabulous, but the sandwiches are pretty decent year around. I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I can't really comment on that, but as far as a normal, unpretentious bakery goes... It works.

Out of the different Grand Central bakeries I've been to, this location is one of the friendliest and most efficient, a somewhat tricky combination in many businesses, but they do a good job here of having many options available, (even if it is past 10am) not rushing the customer, friendly attitude (becoming more rare, sadly) and still getting your order out in a timely manner. And the food is delicious too! That's why you go to Grand Central.

This place has great bread, but even better are the cinnamon rolls, two different kinds, one is frosted and one is not but they are totally different.

They don’t clean their tables and chairs, sat outside in a chair that was soaking wet, won’t come back

I do love me some Grand Central sandwiches and to pick up a loaf and a latte but today was the kick off of their BLT! Don’t walk….RUN! These BLT’s are the best I’ve ever had (side from my homemade, maybe)! Amazing crispy bacon, buttery crispy como bread, only the best…Best Foods mayo, fresh lettuce and the star of the show…JUICY salt and peppered heirloom tomatoes, super thick cut so they are nearly the star of the show! Damn they sourced the perfect BLT tomato! Damn that was a killer sandwich I’m still thinking about hours after lunch! 9.9/10! *side note they are expensive but worth every penny*

My coffee cake, mocha, and olive spread and arugula on focaccia bread was delightful…as was the service and waitstaff! Unfairly to the restaurant I removed 2 stars from the atmosphere category due to the rudest fellow patron I have ever encountered in a public setting. But don’t worry, Grand Central Bakery, I’ll be back and then I will give you all the 5-stars you deserve!

Most AMAZING 👏🏽 🤩 ✨️ 🙌🏽 😍 magical place. My friends and I meet there 3 days a week. For laughter, bonding, love, friendship, stories, great food, beverages, and an amazing atmosphere. We are so welcomed and free to enjoy ourselves and have the most beautiful time while we are together.

Salami Focaccia 10/10 ( olives , meat, bread and the cheese ) , 10/10 pecan pull apart ( sweet and crispy). delicious breakfast food with a chill place to hang / work.

Get a cinnamon roll and coffee and sit on the patio on a summer day for the start of a perfect Portland Sunday.
