Grand Cru Hospitality

We had a very difficult time getting a caterer to respond to us or take our event seriously. Not the case with Grand Cru. They were very responsive and made a point of asking what problems we had with other caterers so they would avoid the same issues. We did not have a wedding planner and the staff of Grand Cru stepped up to fill that role for us. They were on-time, very professional, and had great ideas about making the event successful. They were also very attentive to my wife and I on the day of the event. The food was also fantastic! We received many compliments about it. We highly recommend Grand Cru!

Grand Cru catering was probably the best part of our wedding and the vendor I would recommend again and again.

We went to several tastings with different caterers, but Grand Cru won us over. They were approachable and professional. I was looking for food that was fancy, yet would appeal to most people. The other caterers felt way over the top, but Grand Cru’s food was simple, yet complex and flavorful. They even let us take home the leftovers from our tasting which was amazing.

Our menu included salmon, sliders, grilled vegetables, various salads, and kids food like chicken and Mac and cheese. I still have people telling me how they went back for seconds and thirds!

Another highlight was their specialty mocktails and cocktails (of which I had way too many). My friend commented that the pear mocktails they offered as people arrived, reminded him of Bridesmaids when she goes “sh*t that’s fresh.” It felt very fancy.

Finally, to top off the night, they offered “late night snacks” like mac and cheese balls, which were divine, and just what we needed after a night of dancing.

We also had a private wedding at my father’s house and they were able to set up discreetly in the garage and we barely knew they were there.

Grand Cru did an AMAZING job with the catering for our wedding. Hannah was incredibly organized when it came to the logistics of serving 85 people a family style dinner. Everything was served in a timely manner and cooked to perfection. I could not recommend working with them enough!

From the start, Hannah made planning the food and beverage specifics an enjoyable and stress-free experience. She was incredibly patient and supportive, helping us finalize the menu even after we requested a second tasting. The tasting session with Alex, who in my opinion is a world-class mixologist, was a highlight. The signature drinks he crafted were outstanding and a big hit at our wedding.

On the wedding day, the service staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all our guests' needs were met. Grand Cru Hospitality was also very flexible with the alcohol offerings, which we greatly appreciated.

Overall, we can't recommend Grand Cru Hospitality enough for their exceptional service and delicious offerings. They truly helped make our wedding day perfect.

Grand Cru absolutely exceeded our expectations from their hospitality, service, and communication. My husband and I got married this past April at Pomarius Nursery in Downtown Portland, OR. They provided so many options for food and drink (including our favorite cider), which we loved to be able to pick what we felt like our guests would enjoy the most and what complemented us as a couple. Everyone at our food absolutely raved about the food, drinks, and appetizers. To our pleasant surprise, the chef at our venue was an old friend from my husbands home town - so that made it even more special that he was the one preparing our meal.

It was a pleasure to work with Alex and the rest of the Grand Cru team leading up to our big day. As soon as we had our tasting with them we knew we wanted to hire them for our wedding! We had a fajita bar which accommodated many different dietary restrictions and we got compliments throughout the evening on how delicious the food was! There were also never lines at the open bar which was important to us. Would recommend the Grand Cru team to anyone!

A 10/10 experience, from start to finish. Grand Cru Hospitality exceeded our expectations as our wedding caterer. The gourmet appetizers were delicious, and the southern-style spread of smoked brisket, salmon, and homestyle salads was outstanding. They also provided amazing vegan options for our guests. The bite-sized appetizers were visually appealing and bursting with flavor. The smoked brisket and salmon were tender and perfectly cooked, complemented by refreshing salads. The cornbread and honey-butter added a delightful touch. Grand Cru Hospitality's dedication to providing outstanding vegan options was commendable. The staff was professional, attentive, and accommodating (and soooooo sweet & friendly). We highly recommend Grand Cru Hospitality for their culinary mastery and exceptional service, making our wedding day truly memorable. Grand Cru pulled off an amazing spread of Spanish Tapas for our wedding. Their staff was warm and supportive the whole time. They hosted us for an awesome tasting and were so encouraging and open to our feedback. Everything was so delicious. They especially went above and beyond for our cocktails - delighting us with a smoky pecan drink that they smoked in front of people at the bar. They made our wedding so easy, fun, and delicious. Would 100% recommend.

Allow me to share with you how Grand Cru made August 20th 2022 the best day of my life…Back in July 2022 I proposed to the love of my life, she said yes, (still hyped about that) and we began the arduous task of planning a wedding. To be honest there were a lot of details that I was rather indifferent on, I was useless looking at all the different shades of colors, types of table cloths, silverware, and flowers. Each one looking the same as the one before, I just smiled and either said “that looks great” or “I like green”. Then came the hospitality/catering aspect of the wedding, the part I’m experienced with. I knew I wanted an experience, not just good food and booze. I needed a caterer who would provide a exotic tasty menu that would satisfy any pallet, I wanted our guests to be full and happy. It was a necessity that we had experienced bartenders who could make a quality drink and have fun interactions with our guests (believe me they were busy the whole night). We had ALL that and then some, my guests had a wonderful time and Grand Cru treated me and my wife like a king and queen. From the tasting to the wedding Grand Cru was incredible, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding caterer, or any catering event for that matter. THANK YOU GRAND CRU!-Brady

I didn't have time to cook this year so, I ordered Grand Cru's Thanksgiving Meal. I'd never tried thier food before but had heard good things. I was super happy with my decision. Everything was beautifully prepared. All I had to do was reheat the hot items in the oven for 20'ish minutes. The Menu: Turkey Roulade with 2 kinds of stuffing, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, dinner rolls, green beans, ginger-clementine cranberry sauce, & pumpkin pie with whipped cream. My favorite things were the turkey thigh sausage stuffing and black pepper/thyme brown gravy. We got 6 meals out of it for $120. I thought that a decent value for the gourmet quality of the items received. Wouldn't hesitate to order from Grand Cru in the future.

We worked with Grand Cru for our COVID wedding in August. Although everything was constantly changing, they were always the one consistent piece of the puzzle. Working with Katie was a godsend and she was a vital part of my sanity during this time. They were very flexible, understanding, and BEYOND helpful! They did a wonderful job of ensuring the safety of out guests and their staff. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them. Not to mention, the food was FANTASTIC (people are still talking to us about it)!
