Tried to bring my wife here for lunch and it's locked up/closed. Very disappointed was really looking forward to the food! #sad day
Drove all the way from beaverton. Since it showed that they were open online, got there and the place was closed. I would update the time of hours on Google or make sure that they are actually open before making the drive to this place
Unfortunately we wasted a trip all the way out here l, to find out they are closed. With a note from the ice vending company saying they need their ice machine back. Looks like they just left everything and took off. Terrible at least update your Google saying your closed down for good.

This place says they are open, there is music coming from the speakers, but no one is home. Can't comment on the food but definitely don't waste your time coming here, this place seems like they are closed for good.

Just wasted a trip because their website and signage says they’re open until 6pm on sunday but they were closed long before that.
You should change from open to close to fully close on Sundays false thing
We absolutely love Grants. We come all the way from Eugene and it is an absolute must. The cheesesteak with American is to die for.

Anytime we are in Portland coming from Eugene, Grants is a must. I was so sad that the 23rd ave location closed because we had to skip our favorite place this time but we will definitely be heading to the other location on Shelby next time we are in town. The food is amazing, staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend the cheesesteak with American. It is to die for.

Visiting from out of town and stopped by here (our hotel is only about 10 mins away by the airport). They were very welcoming, Motley Crue was playing in the background (cool!), and the Cheesesteaks and fries we had were delicious. Seems like a great local place to grab a bite to eat!

I honestly think they’re racist at this place! I had a really disappointing experience here. I went in to get a half size Philly cheesesteak, but my card declined. I politely told the cashier I’d go to my car to grab some cash, and she gave me a weird, uncomfortable look. Thankfully, a kind woman behind me offered to pay for my meal. and I truly appreciated that.
However, I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for just one sandwich. The employee prioritized preparing the large order for the woman who helped me (which I understand, and I’m happy she got treated well), but it still didn’t feel right that a single half-size sandwich was pushed to the side.
Even worse, they served people sitting at tables before me, and I just stood there feeling completely ignored and unwanted. In the end, I didn’t even eat the sandwich. I couldn’t trust it. I didn’t feel safe giving it to someone else either, like someone experiencing homelessness, because I honestly questioned whether it had been tampered with.
I would never recommend this place based on how I was treated. But I’ll always remember the kindness of the woman who stepped in when I needed help. God bless her
