Very good muffins & scones. Heavy grind flour gives them an unique mouth feel.

Delicious pastries, great value! The sunrise roll was life changing.

I ordered a "build your own" sandwich today from the Great Harvest shop at 801 SW 2nd Ave, Portland OR, and when I sat down to eat my sandwich I immediately noticed one of the add on items ($1.50 extra) was missing. So I took a couple of pics (before eating the sandwich) and sent an email to this shop informing about the situation. In less than 5 minutes I received a reply from "Jamey" at GH apologizing about the missing item and with no hesitation offered to refund the "$1.50" amount. I replied to Jamey letting her know how impressed I was with the almost immediate reply to my email (not common) and that in the grand scheme it really was no big deal to myself and just wanted to let them know. I did let Jamey know despite the little mishap the sandwich was delicious tasted very homemade and I would certainly continue to do business with them. It's not very often one receives such world class service like this and if this is the Great Harvest culture maintained throughout their locations then HUGE kudos to the company and their employees. I most certainly encourage everyone and anyone to check out Great Harvest. Their breads and cookies are EXCELLENT! Thank you again Jamey and Great Harvest for the great experience today.

Best service at this location. Friendly and accurate for the most. Love the turkey with mustard for lunch. The white loaf is my fave. I like taking home a loaf. Also like the scones for a late morning snack. I love going when I’m downtown.

Bakery by Willamette river with scones, muffins, breakfast rolls, and sandwiches. Got some day old pastries (50% off), a Sunrise roll ($5.25), and a hot 12oz latte ($3.75 + $0.75 soy milk). + Sunrise roll: size of your face and dense bc it's filled with hash brown (hefty!). Egg is cooked well done. The crust has a nice crunch, and tastes like whole wheat. A bit too much hash brown filling for me, but think it just needs some ketchup or hot sauce! (7.2/10)+ Hot soy latte: simple and delicious Stumptown coffee (8/10)

Nothing otherworldly about it. The savory biscuit I ordered was a bit lackluster when cold and the muffin was a little on the dry side. Overall okay and sufficed the need for a baked good.

Never thought a breakfast sandwich could taste that good! I have had a few, but this one stands alone. Fresh bread, balance of veggies, egg, bacon and cheese. Friendly staff. If I was local, this would be a regular stop.

I have been meaning to try here for awhile and finally found the time today. I got a club sandwich with the brown bag lunch, a Marion berry scone, and a chair latte. The bread on the sandwich super tasty well balanced sandwich. Good value for the lunch. The scone was scrumptious. The Chai latte was nothing to write home about just from a mix. I'll definitely be back.

Great sandwiches and cookies for my meetings downtown. They cater for groups also. Jamey, the owner, is about as nice as you can be!

The sandwiches are very good, and the franchise owner is friendly and will chat with you, but unfortunately the building is too small to allow indoor seating. Limited seating outside on the sidewalk is good for nice days.

Friendly service, and a great selection of products. The cinnamon buns are absolutely delicious, but definitely don't forget to try the scones.

I LOVE these people. I come here almost every week for lunch, and this week they helped me out a ton. All lunch catering spots in Portland were smacked this week for the holiday, and when I needed lunch for my office of 11, they came through in an amazing way. Above and beyond is how I'd describe my experience here!
