Parking: There is an Albertsons right across the street I suggest parking in there and running over to grab your grub

Ahi poke ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - wish it was slightly more spicy
Kalua pig ⭐⭐ - very salty for me, wouldn't reorder unless this was a one off mess up
Tri pac ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - a little basic but it's the safest bet if you're new to this sort of food - beef and chicken - beef was a little sweet but made me want veggies - chicken was sweet

The food is real good. I'm addicted to the Ono chicken and the Shoyu is a no brainer if it's on the specials list. The BBQ chicken is a better version of teriyaki chicken. It's all good.
But the last two times we've ordered for takeout, half of the combo plate was missing. Combo with Ono and Kalua pork? No pork. Not like a little, like none. Twice.
Our fault for not catching it before we left but sure wish we could just trust to get what we paid for.

Went late Saturday night. The wait for food wasn't very long. All the food was amazing. The place was a little dirty, the tables were sticky and really needed wiped down.
My partner and I came here on a whim after seeing them on a foodie instagram account. We're from outside of Portland so whenever we come here we like to try something new. We'll absolutely be coming back! We totally could've shared an entree but they pack all orders to-go so it's easy to tap out and pack out. I got the char sui pork special which was great but the BBQ chicken my partner got was AMAZING. Man's eyes were rolling and everything haha. It's super affordable might as well try it out! Mahalo nui loa!

This is the first time I went there since they went from food truck to restaurant and I'm so excited cause they had Meat Jun!!! And it was the best Meat Jun Eva! Big portions so I get plenty leftovas for later! JBoog playing while I was eating and bringing Aloha Friday vibes! Mahalo nui! ?

Arguably the greatest thing to happen to this neighborhood, GWT serves up great food, and the photos of the Ono chicken that you see on Google Maps ain't no joke. This is a mountain of freshly fried chicken drenched in a sweet soy sauce atop two scoops of rice and one of macaroni salad. They use a rubber band to kinda sorta close the takeout box. And by takeout box, that's how all the food is served here, so embrace the compostable container and revel in the noms.
