It's a quiet little spot on the corner with great coffee, and bagels fresh made from a local bakery. Definitely my go to for a local pick me up.

Went into the shop with my partner, Asked for a hot/steamed water to go along with my personal tea packets to start out day before we head out and about. Waitress glanced over me and my partner, seen our bags and that we were peopel of color and denied us and said due to recent circumstances they are not allowed to give out hot water without being a customer. EVEN tho previous coffee tender yesterday gave me a hot water free of charge. I’m not sure what circumstances changed within 24 hours but I felt a wave of prejudice and racism coming from the waitress when hot water is not an questionable expense

The drip coffee here was really nice and got my day started in a way that the packets of instant Folgers coffee the Airbnb I was staying at just couldn't. Each day I also ordered a mocha for my partner which got rave reviews. Ok I won't lie, I stole sips; my so called girlfriend tax while walking back and it was indeed delicious. Both baristas I interacted with were friendly. I also enjoyed checking out the art and prints for sale while waiting for my order.

I love old school coffee shops, where you can sit and watch people and maybe get some work done. This little spot on Burnside is clean, cozy, and welcoming. I stopped in after one of my regular trips to ScrapPDX because I needed a place with WiFi to join a Zoom call. It was perfect, and the coffee was great. Nice art too! This is how coffee shops *used* to be in NW Portland. I'll be back!

Shots came out not too sour or too bitter, just perfect (more important than latte art imo). milk not overheated. Thats all that matters coffee shops!

Best coffee shop in Portland. Period. This place is down to earth and has a chill atmosphere for reading, working on the computer or meeting up for a coffee date. The staff are all friendly and the coffee is on point. Check them out!

3 people working, 1 order ahead of mine, and it took almost 10 minutes to get my drink. Plus, I had to ask 3 times for sugar. Never going back.

Beautiful little cafe that clearly cares very much for the local community and supporting local creators. The barista was very friendly and made sure to check how I liked my drink, and clearly knew the regulars very well. Definitely plan on coming back more often!
