Leo, the owner, provided such a personalized experience, teaching our group a few Arabic words as we enjoyed the Mezzas... which are like combination plates of meat, spreads/sauces, and sides. All this paired with warm pita=delicious!!

We came here because we were in the mood for some Middle Eastern food and wanted to stay close to our hotel. We definitely made the right choice! The food was outstanding. I ordered the vegetarian mezze platter, which came heaping with all kinds of deliciousness. The baba famously was some of the best I've ever had, and the hummus was also up there. The platter also included veggie grape leaves, a small flatbread, tabbouleh, and a falafel patty, all first rate. I highly recommend Habibi when you're in Portland!

The food was amazing. Freshest salad I've ever had. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. Customer service was great, lots of checking in and making sure we were having a good time. Weird place. Rude owner. Good food. Won’t go back.Went here at 6pm on Saturday night without reservations.There was no one at the front counter when we walked in. We headed towards the bar side when the owner frantically waved us back as we had a minor with us.He told us to wait outside for 20 mins so we did as we looked for another place to go instead.We got our table and ordered beverages and then waited for a long time for drinks as the owner chatted with friends passing by.It’s probably a good lunch spot. Try the falafels and home made pita!!
If I could give Leo a 10 for service I would. He treats everyone like family, the food is delicious, and the portions are large at a very good price. But it's Leo that makes it all work.
