Dropped in while several of us were in Portland, looking for a couple of drinks and something to eat. Didn't understand the name of the place until we got inside. I guess you could say it's "original" -- but kinda stupid to be honest with you. And "The Shining?" Why? That alone is a downer. A dark movie to be sure. Whoever did the decor thought they were clever -- but we thought it was just tacky. And I thought karaoke was passe. Did that a few times when it was hot -- got bored with it and sure as heck am not interested in doing it again. -- or listening to it. We each had a couple of drinks and although the names were cutesy -- they were nothing special. Kinda on the weak side. As for food -- not much to choose from. One of the gals had nachos which were just okay -- but if I want a hot dog -- I can make it at home and it's a whole lot better. The problem with a place like this is that is has limited appeal. If you're into getting drunk on cheap booze (actually not that cheap), or a would be singer that doesn't have enough talent to "make it" but crave applause, this is the place for you. The whole thing struck me as being odd. The theme, the decor, the attempt at "designer" drinks and the atmosphere were totally underwhelming. We felt that we wasted our time. Won't go back.

My friends & I went Saturday 8/3/24. While it was pretty fun, it was NOT worth 5 out of the 7 people in our group getting Covid from there, 2 of which are pretty severe.

A very fun place to spend your joint bachelor and bachelorette trip at! Environment gets a bit rough later into the night, but that's to be expected in that part of Portland. Awesome drinks. Super awesome selection of music, super fun!
