The best ice cream in Portland!! Yes we have been to other ice cream chains that are famous and still love Handel’s. They are made fresh daily with lots of flavors and an amazing staff. The flavors are amazing and perfectly sweet.
Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! It’s amazing that this place isn’t busy with how good it is. Definitely at least as good as Tillamook Creamery Ice Cream and Salt and Straw in my opinion, if not better.

Handel’s has my favorite ice cream in Portland. Over 40 flavors, lots of mix-ins, and you get much more for your money compared to Salt & Straw and Fifty Licks. I recommend the 4 scoop flight sampler. I’ve yet to try them all but my favorite so far is the chocolate peanut butter brownie and my wife’s is the strawberry cheesecake.
