I think we may have found our favorite Korean restaurant on the west side! Food was fresh and yummy! Love the how the lettuce is presented. Every single leaf was crisp and perfect! Service was really good as well. Prices are a bit higher, but for what we got, we felt we got a lot of food for those prices.

It's been a while since I went to Portland for work, and while looking for a place to have dinner, I stopped by this new place. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I especially liked the braised bean sprouts. The lady serving us is also kind.

This is by far the best Korean spot in town. The braised short ribs are so tender, they just melt in your mouth. And the egg soufflé is so flavorful and delicious. Totally satisfied my craving for some good Asian food!

Loved the food and the atmosphere. Servers are very attentive and always check on us to see if we need anything. I liked the fact that they have all the cutlery in a paper pouch so that it is clean. Will be back again.

Yikes. Worth avoiding if you want good Korean food.

First, the menu panders to people being introduced to Korean food which isn't terrible if it weren't for the completely lack of flavor. The banchan isn't automatically served, but only when you order a dish (i.e. party of 5 orders 5 dishes, you may get 5 sets of banchan). Doesn't make sense to me and is something that can be easily changed. The english translation is bolded and comes first before the hangul - it's fine but made me skeptical before I took a bite.

The pajeon, soondubu and the bimbimbap's had absolutely no flavor - I mean none that scratched my tastebuds .. no salt, no spice, no sesame, etc. The galbi jjim tasted like someones first time attempting to make it - not bad but not great either. The meat didn't seem that high quality. The jeyuk bokkeum was the only thing that actually had decent flavor which is labeled "spicy," which for a lightweight is more than tolerable. So your best bet is to order something "spicy" if you end up coming here and want flavor but it's nothing to write home about. You'd be better off picking up ingredients and prepackaged meals at H Mart or Go Bu Gi.

The vibe comes off faux fancy but it's too wide-open and sound resonates throughout the whole restaurant. The floor plan and chandeliers (which they kept) worked when it was Queenz Asian Cuisine as they advertised it as a Chinese banquet but, they may also suffer the same fate.

Not bad.
Side dishes were good.
Great service and clean, spacious atmosphere suitable for special occasions. Spendy.

Seafood pancake was thicker than I prefer however it was crispy on the outside with good flavor.

Will likely go back to try their soups/stews.

The food we ordered were great. We were so hungry that we didn’t even get to take pictures of the food. The place was spacious and can accommodate large parties. The menu is more family style. Our only complaint was the banchan wasn’t the typical banchan you get from the other Korean restaurant in the area. It was missing something.

Very sleek new Korean restaurant in an area that has a comparatively large amount of competition, but I believe this Hansik stands its own ground. I like the atmosphere in general, and service is attentive and quick considering what you may order. The location is somewhat unimpressive but the interior itself looks nicely decorated and clean. They offer things on their menu that other local restaurants offer the same cuisine don't have. I enjoyed their pork belly, which was advertised to come with leaf wrappings of five variants. I see that I am not the only one who did not receive five different types of greens, so I'd recommend maybe not stating that on the menu until it's an actuality. However, the food itself was flavorful and well-cooked, which I really appreciate as nothing is more disappointing to me when it comes to food than bland "Asian" cuisine. I'd love to come back and have already recommended this place to multiple people as I believe there is a lot of potential here.

Food was good korean but nothing outstanding in the family style dishes that we ordered. Clean. Spacious. No traditional barbeque at the table. The service was interesting in a friendly yet inconsistent way. Our foodie friend who is also Korean wanted to ask about the cuisine, but the wait staff seemed to know nothing of traditional Korean and knew less about the food than we would expect from a fast food teenager. We mentioned that we would eat family style and order more if needed but they never came back to check if we wanted more. They never came back to upsell more drinks or a dessert. We had to get up to get their attention twice: once for more sauce and once after sitting there chatting for over an hour after we finished the last bite to get the check. They weren't busy so maybe they were being polite to not run us out but easily could have sold us more as we took up space.

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat open layout. Plently of space to accomodate an electric wheelchair without asking people to move.
