The kalua pork tasted like it was soaked in liquid smoke. The pineapple salad was simply pineapple that tastes like it was sprinkled with jello powder. The loco Moco was pretty good. The macaroni salad was good. The come slaw was good. I'm not from Portland do buy default will never be back. If I was a local I dont think I'd be back either

Came in here with my obviously pregnant friend desperate to use the bathroom and immediately promised to buy some food. The lady working the register literally said, “I’ll believe it when I see it” and made each of us buy something just to use the bathrooms, took her sweet time checking us out and kept rolling her eyes, and didn’t give us the code until we had paid. At this point my friend had literally pee’d her pants waiting in line. When we got to the bathrooms they were filthy. The food itself was mid at best.

HORRIBLE. My husband got a Hawaiian chicken plate. His food was cold and it did not taste correctly (none of that was DoorDash fault) he made it on time. When I called to make a complaint I was very nice and didn’t want to sound offensive on the phone but when I said his food was not correct a man was on the phone and said to me “that is not are problem take it up with DoorDash” and instantly hung up. I was shocked and called back and he said “hello?” And I said okay that was very rude and the hang up on the phone was not polite when I was talking about YOUR QUALITY OF FOOD. He did not care and said that I WAS being mean to him and he hung up the phone instantly again. Horrible food quality and horrible service. He did not ask if we could come and get a new plate or anything he just hung up the phone instantly with no conversation to be made.

And yea I am a real person. they can't even admit when the were we wrong instead she's says I'm not real. Smh imma go back and take pictures of this food. So everyone can see what you are serving

I can't recommend this place enough! The large portions and friendly service keep me coming back. The owners are so welcoming and the food is consistently delicious every time. I get a combo of shredded roasted pork and boneless beef short rib because I can't decide which I like better :)

The worker there is very friendly and always personable. The food is always delicious and taste homemade. I recommend either the Hawaiian chicken or the pork with teriyaki. I normally don't even like teriyaki but THIS is the best dang teriyaki I've ever had. 100/10 recommend.
Everything on the menu is clearly marked gluten free, they even mark the teriyaki sauce. I ordered macaroni salad for my partner and they packaged it separately in a plastic tub AND wrote “gf” on my box… There were so many other green flags with how the food was cooked and prepared, I so so appreciated how easy and “normal” it felt to order something allergen friendly :)

I usually get vegan food, but I have a serious weakness for Spam Musubi, and their spam sushi burrito is SO GOOD. I am struggling not to finish it on the bus, it's so tasty. The staff there were so sweet and made me feel very welcome. 10/10
