Fantastic! I wast there when it opened under new management and it was with the trip from Maine.
You have to check out the newly renovated, under new ownership Hawthorne Hideaway! Service and food are great! Bartenders are super friendly, it's clean, and i can't wait to see some live local bands!
“Friendly bartenders” doesn’t quite cover it. Early in the evening I said I was craving a margarita and I was made an excellent, from scratch, unsweet, perfect margarita. As we were leaving I heard the same kind, funny, hardworking bartender having to deal with a couple walking in who had already too much to drink. He handled the situation with enviable calm, professionalism and empathy. Hawthorne Hideaway ❤️

Hawthorne Hideaway is a dark dive bar with delicious food, including bacon smash burgers, fries, and salads. The margaritas and mixed drinks are also praised. Owners Alana and Otis are friendly and attentive, and the bartender Otis is known for being friendly. The restaurant has a cozy, unassuming atmosphere with a stage for live music and comedy performances, and a Twin Peaks theme. The food is outstanding, and the place is great for relaxing and having a drink, with a small but mighty draft selection and well thought out cocktails.
