mmm! good for breakfast Lunch ORRR dinner. great servers, beautiful atmosphere and the library in the hotel adjacent to the restaurant is GREAT to veg out in after you get up from the table!
We partook in the Portland Dining month menu. The food was great. The wine pairing was not our favorite.
Absolutely every item we had from the menu was fantastic. Highly recommend. Great staff, very confident and took great care of us.
We had the oysters, crispy brussel sprouts and split the paella. The first two were delightful. The paella was a second thing. The rice and base was super yummy, but the seafood was just sad. We had 6 mussels that had been essentially dehydrated under the broiler, maybe 5 of the tiniest shrimp I've ever seen and an assortments of squid/octopus. Charging 27 dollars for this is not justified by the quality we were served. But other than that, our server was lovely and the ambiance was nice. Just don't get the paella.
My Husband and I have been going to the March dining out events for three years now. This was the first time we walked out hungry. The appetizer was to have shrimp (think it was minced) and our main course was basically Soup. The lobster was probably the size of my little finger and the rest was sauce. The dessert was the best part. Very disappointing for a $33.00 each meal.
Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel, and great location if you're off to a show nearby. 3 stars because the two times I have gone here, we are only lucky with 50% of the savory dishes. One is usually fantastic, and the other is a little off. Dessert is a must here!
Very good service and food. The scallops were true perfection. Brussel sprouts were too sweet for me and a few other people in our party.
This place offers extraordinary service as well as enjoyable meals. One of the best place ever. The drinks and food came out fast and the prices are fair. I recommend this place.
Been here solely for the Russian Tea and it is fantastic. The dining room looks lovely, especially during the holiday season when the tea is offered. Set price gets you tea and a lovely tray of finger foods and desserts.
My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious meal here and very good service. Place was very busy so we ate at the end of a long table - worked just fine!

We went to Headwaters for Christmas Eve and were disappointed. The atmosphere has completely changed and the charm from this establishment has been removed. Our servers were not friendly and seemed annoyed by any of our questions. Never smiled once. We were not impressed with the food. The steak was way overdone and the paella was very odd with a disproportionate amount of various seafood. Three people ordered the paella and we all thought it was terrible. Salad and appetizers were fine. Portions sizes are quite adequate. The hostesses were very nice along with the bartender. We would not recommend this restaurant. We understand its hard to judge a restaurant on a Holiday, however , we expected more for the amount they are charging and given its past reputation. We hope others have a better experience.
Super disappointed. The service and attitude from the wait staff was really bad. We were ignored for the first 15 minutes after our arrival, served after a few other tables had arrived, and waited another 20 minutes for food to arrive. Sadly, we had to ask the bartender for a menu and were brushed off by several other waiters in the interim. Not sure why as we couldn't even get someone to stop and speak with us until we had to literally interrupt one to let them know we had been waiting patiently for a long time while they served other tables who arrived later than us. When we finally got to order, we initially ordered 18 oyster half-shells (received 16 instead; we seriously had to count them), lobster slider and basket of fries. The food was good, but we ended up being rushed out because of our seating area (understandably, we had our son with us). Despite all this, we were still as polite as could be yet our server acted rude and very much like she did not care and for what?
I was here for the tea service. I loved the tea set up (the pots and the glasses). It was a really interesting spread- good mix of sweet and savory.
Fabulous restaurant. Phenomenal cocktails. Insanely cool waitstaff. Enjoyed lunch and dinner during out stay and the atmosphere was great as well! 10 out of 10!
We went for the Russian tea and felt like the service from the valet (non existent really) to the server was not what we expected. It took so long to get the tea and much longer to get drinks. It wasn't a seem less experience and it's very expensive. Our group even thought details were lacking in the presentation of the servers. They all looked disheveled and a little more attention to detail in many areas woupd have made the experience more festive and enjoyable.
