Love my local coffee shop. Their nut milks are amazing but definitely pricey so know before getting alternatives.

Although heart continues to relocate their west side down town location - each iteration seems better than the last. I can't wait to return to this wonderful place for a date but for now I'll be grabbing a cup of gourmet coffee to go.

Disappointed. Overrated by other sources. Could feel the barista didn't want to be there. So see if 15% gratuity up front could make things better (15% is not bad for putting coffee into paper cups, and onto the counter. That's it). Did not work. All 5 cups of coffee taste bland. Then all 5 had sour aftertaste. While waiting for the coffee to be made, we could smell the chemicals coming from the restroom, and not the coffee (with mask on). Ironically the name is Heart, while the barista's heart is not in it.

Coffee tasted so bland and the shot tasted burnt, all my friend's drinks was made so poorly. Also the vibes from the staff were very rude.

overpriced and pretentious. took off mask for a split second to sip coffee and got a stern warning. put sugar in my coffee without letting me know, really?

Came to the downtown location at 11:30am this morning for like, the 100th time in my life. Had to go pee really bad as I have an overactive bladder and when I gotta go, I gotta go. Asked the barista if I could get the bathroom code and she said “you have to be a customer.” I said “I really have to go and I’ll buy something after I use the restroom, I came here for coffee!” She still wouldn’t let me go, and then some person (probably a tourist) jumped in and said “stop giving her a hard time she said you have to be a customer.” Fml. Ironic this place is called Heart. I promised to buy something and pleaded a couple more times, but the mob of social justice warriors had descended and deemed me unfit to use the restroom. As someone born and raised in Portland, it’s this kind of pretension and lack of good neighbor ethos that has killed the friendly spirit Portland used to have. Lost a loyal, local, social worker customer today who always tips extra.

Exceptional coffee! Visiting from NY and had on my last day. Friendly cashier, too!

Heart coffee was right next to the famous beunch spot. Their coffee and a pastry satisfied me as a great breakfast saving my time in Portland.

I got a large coffee 2.5/5 - coffee was watery and bland Blue berry muffin 4/5 - I was hoping it would be a soft muffin but was on the hard side in a good way. Decaf hazelnut latte 5/5 - this was the reason I gave 4 and not 3 stars, so flavorful, balanced, and great foam texture (this was my wife's drink I tried) I would recommend trying other artisan spots before here and a fair rating is 3.5/5

Got two americanos, one iced and one hot. Both of these coffees tasted exceptionally sour even though we were told the coffee would taste smooth with hints of caramel. The most dominant flavor was sour, and we both ended up tossing our coffees. This may be a preferred flavor for some coffee drinkers, but was not my cup of coffee.

On a very hot record-breaking day in Portland, their air-conditioning was almost as welcoming as the barista. We enjoyed our delicious coffee drinks accompanied by pastries from some of Portland's finest bakeries (I recommend the korvapousti !!). With socially-distanced tables in place, I was able to reconnect with an old friend in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Thanks, Heart!

Excellent coffee. Only offer take out due to pandemic. Cinnamon roll was great and not too sweet.

They sell 10.5 Oz bags of coffee which I find egregious; the industry standard is 12 Oz or 16 Oz.

If you're a yuppie you will probably really like this place. If you're anything else you probably won't. The amount of pompousness in this establishment is astounding. They turn off the WiFi during the weekends for ambiance, they don't have outlets because your Mac book battery lasts ten hours anyways(cords look yucky). Like you guys serve bean water. Get over yourself. I guess the main reason I'm writing this review is I'm a little upset that they didn't let people use the bathroom. Not only that, but they don't appreciate you taking a piss on their building either! Before you, "but muh global pandemic" me, covid doesn't spread through toilet activities, so that's not the reason. I added a star because the staff is really nice and it's not their fault for this draconian policy.

The decor here makes me feel at home, it's super comfy and the coffee is also great.
