We ate here last night. The space is ok, but the food was delicious. We had chicken,fish, shrimp, greens, Mac, and sketti.mypm had a salad. The food reminds me of J's diner in Detroit MI. We will definitely eat their food again. It appears a man and wife are running it alone. She takes orders and he cooks. She is a gracious hostess. My dad is a vegetarian and they offered to may him a mushroom poor boy as most of the menu is meat. Go give them the love.

We were driving through Portland looking for a place to stop for dinner, and I’m so glad we found Heavy Plays. This place was SO GOOD!

We ordered two heavy burger baskets, a heavy basket with shrimp, and a heavy basket with chicken, and it was enough for our family of six. I was pleasantly surprised that my picky eater loved the very flavorful breading, but what can I say? The seasonings were absolute perfection and he’d have been crazy not to!
