Incredible jalapeño cream cheese. Classic menu, that’s just plain delicious. Highly recommend!

Tall bald white guy that does overnight deliveries is the rudest person I’ve ever met. He came in to deliver bagels and he slammed them in front of me. Ignored me completely when I said good morning. Horrible customer service. This is not the first incident. It’s every time he comes in to drop off an order he’s just awful. There was one time a man was standing next to me and he said good morning to him and ignored me again. He’s sexist and insufferable. Let him go, he’s bringing a baaaad rap to your business. Allowing an angry misogynistic man to continue to work at this company says a lot your values :/

Never left a review but these people are so bad at their jobs whether it’s having a 45 minute wait with 5 people there or just flat out giving the wrong order the last five times I’ve been it’s genuinely awful

I ordered a sesame bagel toasted with hummus, but they also offered Earth Balance butter, Tofutti cream cheese, and peanut butter and jelly.

Bagels are fine, but there's a 50% chance my bagel is going to taste like garlic, or on an exciting day jalapeño, no matter what kind I get. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're planning to get a garlic bagel anyway.

Great bagels, lousy coffee.

The bagels are wonderful! Chewy, great flavor and plenty of toppings.

The coffee's another story. Thin, with that old-school-canned coffee weird flavor.

BEST BAGELS IN PORTLAND. Don’t sleep on these hole in the wall cafes scattered across the east side. I love a simple bagel with cream cheese but their bagel breakfast sandwiches are also 10/10.

Love Henry Higgins Bagels! They are an awesome local shop with high quality bagels - hard to find in the Northwest! I love the egg and meat sandwiches (they have a reduced price no-cheese option as well which I appreciate). Whenever I bring these to work people always rave about how tasty they are. Try the honey and almond cream cheese, you won't regret it!

I’ve tried just about every bagel shop in town. HH is hands down the best. Great bagels, great cream cheese options. Everything Cheese bagel with scallion cream cheese and fresh dill is the go to. Makes my morning every time.

THIS HAS ONE STAR TO HOPEFULLY INFLUENCE A CHANGE: I will make it 5 stars when Henry Higgins finally realizes they need to make enough jalapeño bagels so those of us who aren't able to be right there at 7:30am on the dot to get one of them. They are the best bagels I have ever had, so when they are out of jalapeño bagels I eat elsewhere. I haven't had Henry Higgins in a year because of this and it's a huge first world problem.
