Good bagels but $30 for lox bagel, mocha, and tip is outrageous
Latkes were weird—thicker and mushier. Not made with eggs as a binder like I’m used to but a full patty, with visible shredded carrots. Weird. Fine but not the latke I wanted or expected. Also no ceramic mugs or metal cutlery, so dine in just as wasteful as takeout.

The Lox Sandwich, at $20, had one insufficient layer of smoked salmon which was overwhelmed by the bountiful tomato, onion and dill. The bagel was excellent, as were the other ingredients but a $20 sandwich should have a generous portion of lox. Will not return.

Just visiting from Europe, this place is a delightful haven. I especially enjoyed the older employees, who have wonderful personalities. The “everything” bagel is the best!
Vegetarian options: Try the tofutti spread WITH added avocado and veggie cream cheese; Decadently delicious!

Exciting menu selections make this cozy spot feel like an East Coast deli. The bagels have the perfect amount of chew and are slathered with the perfectly generous but not gratuitous amount of schmear. Because it is an order at the counter situation, it pays to look up what you want first. The staff was helpful and kind about my one special request.

The bagels are great! Boiled is right in the name so you know it's legit, and I like that they stay open into the afternoon so I have more time to go
delicious + reasonably priced!

Our bagel sandwiches were sooo delicious - I recommend the tomato herb bagel! Service was super nice and they have tables outside to eat at
Vegetarian options: The bagels are all egg free and almost all are vegan!

we were so excited to try a new place in the neighborhood, sadly we were never greeted the whole time we were there the cashier never uttered one word just stood there, I wasn't even sure she was taking the order she was so silent kinda felt unwelcoming. we got Bagel dogs which wete super hot to the touch on the outside but darn near cold in the center gross, and the half dozen begals we bought were hard. Really disappointed for the amount we spent cold and not tasted fresh. We won't be returning!
They actually carry salted beagles!!! Thank you. Haven't had one since I lived in BNY. Friendly crew and just good food oh ya and awesome strong real coffee. So do yourself a favor and skip the overpriced coffee flavored sugar star lines and get a normal priced great beagle the way you want it and an eye opener cup of great coffee!!!

Holy smokes. The most delicious bagel I’ve ever had. Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Would I definitely come again!

Bagels are made offsite in se portland per employee and it tasted like it. Mine was okay but a little stale. Coffee was mediocre. Would rather spend money at a proper bakery.

Best bagels in Portland. Closest thing I’ve had to a New York bodega bagel here!

I got this delivered and it was quick, but man we're those the worst bagels I've ever had. The honey almond cream cheese was sour like it has gone bad. It's weird because I've never met cream cheese that I didn't like. The egg and sausage bagel was not good either, just the tiniest piece of sausage that only covered like half the bagel. Just really not good at all.

Missing more than half of my order, won’t answer the phone, and can’t leave a voicemail because the mailbox is full. Used to enjoy this place so this is unfortunate.
