Oh my goodness...what an amazing gem nestled in the industrial district of Portland!
I had the great opportunity to visit Hip Chicks Do Wine for a special curated wine tasting with colleagues from across the country. There was a general and strong consensus:
- The venue is amazing! - The owners are incredibly passionate and knowledgeable! - The wine was some of the best we had ever had (ESPECIALLY THE PORT -- my personal favorite)
Hip Chicks has their own wine club membership and are generous supporters of other local organizations and events. They offer retail items, including artwork, t-shirts, etc., and of course, their WINE! Be sure to book your very own wine tasting and visit them while in Portland. I know you will enjoy Hip Chicks just as much as we did!

This is a fabulous place to gather for fun little celebrations (just went for Mother's Day mimosas!), fun tasting events (I always love their Halloween candy and wine pairings!) and craft markets (wine and shopping, perfect around the holidays!). The atmosphere is welcoming, the events are fun, the staff is friendly, and the wine is tasty. A great addition to the city and the urban winery scene!

We've been members of the Hip Chicks do Wine wine club for years, and we are consistently impressed not only by their amazing wines but also by their unique, fun events! I surprised my husband for his birthday last year with one of their classes where he got to make a charcuterie board (he loves woodworking). We had a blast drinking their wonderful wines and walked away with an absolutely beautiful charcuterie board. Laurie and Renee have always been fantastic hosts during the multiple events we've attended, and they're definitely badass winemakers! Oh, and Laurie is an amazing cook...she is so generous about accommodating my gluten-free diet when we attend wine club members events. And did I mention the wine is outstanding?!?

I LOVE Hip Chicks Do Wine! My sisters, mum, and I found this place on our girls trip to Portland last summer (21'). Any time I'm in Portland now I stop by to get more wine. Not only is it delicious with a wide variety for all pallets, but the owners and their son are amazing people.

I will start by saying we were doing a wine tasting tour and this was our second stop and we weren't impressed. The guy working there came drop of our wine flight and didn't come check on us. We weren't impressed with any of the wines but we love the sangria.
