So glad they are back open, and with covered sidewalk seating! The food is fabulous and the beer is good and cold. The owner is about as friendly and welcoming as you could ask for, even brought water to a pup that was visiting with his people. Highly recommend this place for a fun, good, kickback place to go. Also, all covid precautions are in place including masks and distancing.

Hobnob is always a treat. The food here is always incredible. The only place in town you can get real ribs (I'm a Chicago girl, I'm so over this dry rub and then you put sauce on it scene, ribs should be sauced so you can add more sauce!). But seriously, this place is amazing. Outstanding staff and always can get a taste of home. The owner is incredible too, you can tell that he cares about everything. Support local, support Hobnob.

I've been going to hobnob regularly for the past 3 years and it's my favorite dive bar in Portland. Great drinks, the food soo good and the owner is awesome. We went in recently since reopening during covid and they're doing a great job spacing out tables outside, wearing masks and keeping things clean. All around awesome spot!

Food is pretty good, but eat before you go? I'll go back when the portion sizes don't require you to eat a whole second meal to be satisfied :( sides are extra, so $6 extra for a soup or salad isn't exactly helping I suppose.

Talk about a hidden gem. The food was EXCELLENT! The cocktails were also great! Good price for the quality and quantity of food also. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

First visit to our new neighborhood hangout. Had a great time chatting with David, the longtime bartender. Played some shuffleboard. Lots of barbeque-ish food is pretty decent, if not great. Cool vibe, nice story behind the place, good people.

My boyfriend and I grabbed a bite to eat and had a drink here last night. Nice quiet atmosphere. I fell in love with the bartender/server, he was so kind, friendly, and made sure our drinks were always filled and our needs were met. I ordered the grilled veggie, it was so delicious! I will be coming back.
