Amazing owners and staff. I spent many a wonderful evening on dates, at events or enjoying any number of birthdays here. I am sad to learn they are closing.
A truly awful dining experience. The server never followed up after setting the food down and never brought the check. No salad dressing with the salad and no way to ask for it since the service was so poor. The crab cakes were old and tasted highly processed. If you haven't been here please save your money and your sanity. Go somewhere else!
We did the Shanghai Underground tour and it was awesome. Very educational and interesting. It's amazing that Portland built their present city over the old one and tried to just bury it and pretend it never happened. We learned such amazing and rich history of the city in it's early days and how rough and scary of a place it really was. If you're ever in Portland I highly recommend you take the time to experience this tour. I do have pictures but I can not post them or use them without permission of the Shanghai Underground Tour people.
Love the formal-look but casual vibe of this place. Chad... Amazing service from that guy!

The service was not great. We waited for quite a while just to get drinks. The food was adequate. Overall, the stay was just okay.

The ambience is great as well as the service. Been there twice for PGMC cast parties. They've always treated us right. Be careful on the street, it's not in the greatest neighborhood.
Went for the underground tour that met up there. The drinks were tasty but the service was slow.
It was okay. The building is incredible, the service was okay, the salmon was dry, the New York was okay and the fish were okay.
I always have a great time.
