I had a hair in my pizza that made it to my mouth. First time coming here and it was overpriced for the low quality. Gonna end up throwing out 90% of it since now I’m grossed out and scared that I’m gonna end up with more hair in my mouth.

Just got a personal Hawaiian. It did not survive the walk home. Very nice, a bit of spice in the sauce and it is a good Real American thin crust that can support the weight of its own toppings! I am saving their phone number as a contact!

Support this local, PDX, small business. Their pizza is sooo much better than the commercial guys! And we love pizza! Hit up a delivery service if ya can’t make it there and have them bring it to you! It’s worth it. I promise!

Hometown Pizza truly reminds me of the small pizza shops growing up on the east coast. Great pizza, very consistent, you can even order over the phone (which I love). It's a hidden gem and a must try.
Food is delicious I personally could have used a little more salt in the dough and in the sauce but I prefer extra salt on everything so staff was friendly I always try to support our local businesses and this is one. I highly recommend a family-owned business it was absolutely wonderful they serve free popcorn and they also have ice cream and they have numerous appetizer such as chicken wings and jalapeno poppers they also have loaded tater tots. All the food is well cooked and I would recommend Home Town pizza on 72nd to all my friends.

The staff (and owner?) were very friendly. We ordered the Hometown Special, w/out pineapple, and the Veggie. We were told they'd be ready in about twenty minutes and they were. Both pizza were great. They also cut the pizzas in smaller slices than is normal, these days, but are the size I remember when getting pizza growing up. The Mt. Scott area has many great pizza places, but this is our new favorite.Also, we asked about wings when we made our pizza order. When we picked up our pizza they showed us a batch of wings they were tossing with sauce in a big bowl. They looked really good. We'll probably order some next time.
