Pizza tasted like they slapped a couple slices of fresh mozzarella on top of a cheap frozen pizza.

Had time to stop in to eat before a show. Short walk from Schnitzer Hall. Casual eating. The cheese cake dessert was delicious. The churros were good too. My husband enjoyed his clam chowder. There was one server for the entire room. We were in no rush so it worked for us. There was another table that left because they didn't get served/helped. For the server being by themselves , he did great. He did need to be reminded about one of our orders once, and I can understand why. He was very nice. Maybe a note pad and some more staff?

Very disappointing. The fish and chips were obviously just from the freezer and then fried too long. Nothing like the photos from 5yrs ago show.

Inside the Hilton Hotel. Only place open during a snowstorm!! The clam chowder was really good 10/10. We asked for Cajun fries 9/10. The grilled cheese was good 9/10, but the tomato soup 6/10 it wasn't as creamy as it would be with a little be of tomato paste.

My "Gorden's fish stick fish toco's". $20. Never see a fish taco made with a frozen grocery store section fish stick. To funny. Not appealing at all. ???

I'm staying at the hotel....went down to heat my food and grab a coffee( caramel machiato)....the coffee was horrible, it was bitter......I also requested extra hot but it wasn't....I trashed it right there coz I couldn't drink it and it seemed like it would be easier to give up on it all together than to argue about it...she had an attitude. I regret that I even tipped

Hop City was surprisingly good The wings were very good, and the waffle fries were seasoned. The Caesar salad is huge, and their cocktails are good. My wife had season tater tots delicious.

Very relaxing while also feeling very upscale. Anyone can feel like a welcome guest and the prices are actually very affordable for downtown!

So there's some good and bad about this restaurant. First, I wasn't sure where just sit as the place was really big because it's inside the Hilton. But luckily I was able to ask somebody where to sit and where to ask for a menu. The tables were dirty and sticky. I had to ask for a washcloth so I got a dry one so it didn't really help clean up the table very much. So if you go to this restaurant you might want to bring some wipes to wipe down the table. The reason why I gave this restaurant such high Mark's is because the food was phenomenal. I was blown away. The prices are a little high but the food is amazing! I would definitely try coming here again but with something to wipe the tables down with. LOL

Had a light meal here last night because we're staying in this Hilton hotel, and it's cold outside. The fish part of their fish & chips was good - I'd recommend ordering it. However, after requesting vinegar, I was told, "Its really hard to get things around here". If I had known that beforehand, I probably wouldn't have ordered it in the first place. So ask first if you want vinegar with your fish & chips, or order something else. The chips part of their fish & chips were way, way over-salted. I've never ever had to wipe off salt on my fries before. The response to this comment was, "Yeah, sometimes they like to salt them"...? Otherwise, we liked how the fries were tasty, crispy & hot. So order them only lightly salted or not at all salted, because there's salt on the table too.Lastly, the cream cheese dessert with berries was fine, and the whipped cream was yummy, until we hit the actual dessert, which was dense & dry, and obviously pretty old with cracks in it. By this time,we didn't even bother to bring it up to our waiter, since hopefully he noticed that we only ate the topping lol.A very nice thing our guy did was to bring us very hot water for a very cold night.

I went to HopCity Tavern for the first time during burger week, so the food I ate is not on the menu any longer but it was absolutely mouthwatering! I had the “The Cheesy McCheeser”, a 1/2 lb burger, portobello mushroom, Gruyère, Cheesy McCheeser sauce, and dijon-horseradish spread on a pretzel bun. This was one of the best burgers I had in Portland and my only complaint regarding the food is that this isn’t a permanent item. The service was okay, the barkeeper who also delivered the food to the tables forgot my friends order for a while and also just seemed disinterested while trying to approach him for drinks.
